I agree - for a independent/3rd party to seriously crack the rotation, it needs to start way sooner. But, that said - I’m perfectly fine with the spoiler role. The 2020 race will have a bona fide, principled conservative running, and that is not a bad thing. At all.

Just had to pop in here and let ya’ll know someone on Twitter informed me I apparently support a Trump re-election because I won’t vote for Joe Biden. For all of 2015 I was told a thousand times my 3rd party vote was a vote for Hillary. Now it’s a vote for Trump.

Join the club. Nonstop bullshit. But I’m a firm believer in 3rd party votes being completely valid. Just because they won’t result in an election is no reason to not vote your own conscience.

I’ll go one further. I’m totally open to a “these choices all sicken me, none of the below” vote. I’d actually like to get that on every ballot, tbh.

Well, it’s functionally either biden or trump. I’d bet anything trump has assulted/raped more women than biden. And America has proven it doesn’t ACTUALLY really care about sexual assault if it contradicts their prior opinion of someone in power.

I have Trump and Biden at about equal in the mental decline department, and Trump ahead in the rape / sexual harassment department, but it is perhaps close. I really wanted to pick my candidate on these qualities, but it is just too close to call.
I guess I’ll just have to look at other things.

This is more of a joke, but if you read many of Trump’s transcripts they make very little sense.
Folks with an agenda will see him looking down and claim he fell asleep. Pretty darn irrational, but the trump base has never really been overly rational.
No, it is not the same thing. Biden’s confused rants, answers, slurring is not being stupid or having no filter it is an old confused man with the onset of dementia.
I would argue some of Trump’s speeches are just as bad. They are not something a sane intelligent person would ever say IMO.
This all comes down to opinion anyway. Maybe Trump is just plain dumb, and not in decline. Is that really any better?
