Agree here. I am just saying the odds of Trump dying in a second term are greater than most politicians (even good ones) odds of winning a presidential election.
Lol weird conversation but you’re probably right. I still don’t think she does it just so she controls her own destiny. Could potentially be very damaging to any political aspirations if everyone can say she is Trump.
For better or worse if she is Trump’s VP she will be painted that way in 2024 should she run.
That said if I’m a Trump strategist I’m all over dumping Pence for her. I don’t particularly think Pence is a liability but he doesn’t really get anyone going either. She would have the possibility to bring some women into the fold that might shy away. Either way she could “cancel” out the other VP woman from a sense of attack.
All that said I still think the VP picks are overrated. Hell I think the Dem nominee is overrated (though Biden their best bet). All going to come down to what the non die hard Trump fans think about him in the fall.
Agree.
However; the “common” wisdom is that the VP choice is one that may help you…but certainly can hurt you.
No doubt but in general the top of the ticket is the one that matters. I don’t see either person having a potential VP that would swing the whole thing. That said I do think Haley helps Trump…but I think the election will be on him and not who he has riding shotgun.
I think Amy Klobuchar has appeal in the mid west. She would help in states like MN, WI, and MI IMO.
What a site. A delusional communist vs. a half dead zombie for a debate. And I got a great idea, let’s call for Americans being on lock down, but the border is wide open, come on in! Bring your diseases with you, we’ll give you free health care. What a shit show.
The Trump Biden debate will be pretty amusing too.
Evidence please.
Asscrackistan was not why the USSR fell. The combination of SDI and Chernobyl (the latter being by far the worst) murdered their economy. It was amazing to see people in Czechoslovakia take to the streets and the soviet police helpless to stop them. Those were some grand days.
Essentially, that prompted a few years of peace, unfortunately, a peace that didn’t last long.
Yes it will. Trump is going to destroy Biden, it’s going to be hilarious.
I wasn’t clear. In the debate Sunday, both candidates proclaimed they would have open borders under their administrations. Just what the nation wants to hear in the middle of a national health crisis.
Isn’t this subjective? Both are senile old men, make gaffs, and don’t make logically correct sentences.
What context are you talking about here. Open as in not having a border wall? I live in a border state (Minnesota), I can’t imagine not having border security as we have it now.
Pat is a low information sheep and shill, a true useful idiot. He did not watch the debate and spreads lies. I won’t call him a liar because he is not smart enough to know that he is lying.
Here is what was said at the debate regarding open borders:
Asked if their proposed asylum changes could be criticized as “open border” policies, Sanders strongly pushed back, saying most Americans support a “humane” immigration agenda.
“No one is talking about open borders,” he said.
“But Trump will have a silly nickname for Biden. Who needs policy when you have a nickname?”

Constitutionally, VP is the worlds most useless job. You only get to work if the president wants you to. Otherwise you’re a place holder. Granted it’s an important place-warming spot, one has to stay vigilant. But as a job, or influence, it’s worthless.
This may be. What will Trump run on? Said Mexico would pay for the wall and it didn’t happen. Said he would get coverage for all at a cheaper rate and it didn’t happen. Said he would eliminate the debt and it didn’t happen.
Now we have a public health crisis as you said (which he denied multiple times) and the economy is likely to be in the tank.
Most Americans despise his tweets and his lies. Biden’s definitely not an exciting candidate but Trump’s a known commodity now. And the majority of people don’t like him. He very well may win despite all this. We’re a partisan country that will support a letter no matter what. I don’t believe anything could keep you from supporting him no matter what he does. Which is fine btw I’m just stating.
No. Trump may be bellicose, but he doesn’t mumble aimlessly and wander off camera in the middle of a live stream or any of the thousands of gaffes Biden has made during this campaign. It’s not a smear, really. I feel for the old guy. I feel like he was pushed into this spot by the DNC. He should be smoking a pipe in his favorite sweater reading a good book by the fire.
I can’t stand Bernie, but at least he is lucid, he’s aware of what is going on. Biden is not in good mental shape. It’s sad.
Oddly enough, Trump is the youngest candidate who has a chance at Nov. 2020.
Why the democrats ripped on Tulsi I will never know. Out of the 24 candidates, she is the sharpest tool in the shed. She would have given Trump a run for his money in the general.
Well, if you get rid of ICE and Border Patrol and vow not to deport anybody except those with the worst felony offences and you guarantee health care to anybody that crosses and you fully decriminalize that crossing you don’t even need a wall or any impediment. If people can just freely cross through the gates why go around?
That is open borders as it gets. Both candidates promised that in the last debate.
Have you actually paid attention to him? Like at all? I won’t disagree that Biden may not be ringing the top floor at all times but Trump is essentially demonstrably not in control of his thoughts or speech. And it would take forever to list all the examples.

A gaffe is an unintentional act, a blunder. Trump intentionally lies often, distorts the truth, doesn’t listen to advice, etc. He is not in control of his emotions or behavior and this is not new.
Attack Biden all you want but you can’t seriously think Biden doesn’t have it going on upstairs but Trump does. Like it’s preposterous to believe.
We will just have to agree to disagree here. IMO, he says some things that are just crazy. Windmills causing cancer, being good at science because of an uncle who was a scientist at MIT, Vaccine statements. It is crazy.
Aside from a virus outbreak, I am not convinced countries having borders is a good thing. Many assume it is, I am just not convinced. I think many of the countries with poor human rights and poor living standards would be forced to improve conditions for their citizens, or become desolate. Additionally, I am not convinced that people should not have the right to choose where they live.
You have to be detached from reality to say some of the things he says. The idea that Pat could actually think otherwise is amazing.
If someone says they are going to vote for Trump over Biden that’s different than pretending Trump doesn’t have significant issues mentally. Biden may as well, but your evidence that Trump does is too overwhelming to deny unless one is going to deny everything potentially negative about him.
I beg to differ. Trump’s approval rating is near the highest it’s ever been in the aggregate. People are coming to vote for him in uncontested primaries doubling, in many places, than what obama had in 2012. People are coming out to vote for him and they don’t even have to.
In Arkansas, Trump got 228,698 votes, the entire democratic field got 228,698 a difference of only 766 votes.
In Alabama, Trump got 209,798 more votes than the entire democratic party.
The difference is, that people are passionate about Trump, who the hell is passionate about Biden.
Sure those who support Bernie are passionate, but they are a relatively small but devoted group. And he’s appealing to voters who don’t usually bother to vote, the young. And he’s not projected to win. A contested convention is more likely than Bernie winning the contest.
