Well, for one thing, there has never been a country with open borders so there is no comparison.
Those countries with very liberal immigration policies were forced to rethink them after the influx of refugees came in.
You need to know who is coming in to your country. There are too many people with bad intent who want to come in and do violence. And now with a pandemic, how the hell do you control it, if people can freely trounce in and out of your country.
Countries need borders, it’s the primary first defense against bad intent.
Dude he has one of the lowest approval ratings of all time consistently. I haven’t checked the historical data but at one point he was carrying the lowest in modern history.

No doubt. He has a base that loves him and will always love him. He could probably bomb California today and his base would approve. That base doesn’t get you the win. Number of people voting for him when running unopposed is pretty irrelevant unless you have evidence that people are voting for him now who we wouldn’t expect to cast that vote for him in November.
Biden doesn’t need people to be passionate about him if they are passionate against his opponent. A vote for Biden because of Trump counts the same as a vote for Biden because someone loves him.
Biden carries an over 6 RCP head to head matchup advantage over him. It’s early but so far you disagree with me on his popularity by showing he’s at 42%?
He says crazy shit, but he’s not mentally deficient medically speaking. Biden’s decline is very visible. This is not my own observation, pretty much everybody including the media has noticed. The guys doesn’t know where he is, what year it is, what position he’s running for. He threatens to kick a guys ass for disagreeing with him on gun policy and refers to a gun that doesn’t even exist.
This isn’t a deliberate thing, he’s losing it.
This is a case of a few countries having liberal policy borders vs all countries having open borders. Would the influx be overwhelming if people could go to any country? I guess it is apples to oranges.
Open borders does not mean this can’t be done.
I am not convinced a border is going to stop them. If I want to do some harm in Canada, I just get one of my canoes and paddle across.

Trump says shit to get under people’s skin. Biden mumbles and staggers and loses his place. If it happened from time to time, no problem, we all do that. With him it’s constant.
He did a virtual town hall, he was talking and suddenly just turned and walked off camera mumbling to himself, it was a disaster.

There would not be a limit. I feel that if every country had open borders, that these worries would sort themselves out. People would stop coming when no jobs were left, people would stop coming when no housing is available. It would be a libertarian system in regards to where one wants to live.
