The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

Biden is looking strong and brings exactly the kind of excitement you would expect from the youngest man in the Democratic field.

I look forward to trying my best to hear him out.

You can gamble on anything. Wonder what the odds are that both these old codgers get taken out in an ambulance during the same debate?

The last Presidential race bet I placed was taking some long shot odds that Bill Clinton would end up banging one or both of the Bush twins in a 2004 election scandal. It didn’t pan out but I still liked the odds my bookie gave me.

Are you sure you didn’t win that bet? I know people who knew those girls when they were in college and I’d be more surprised if they didn’t bang Bill.

Ha… you know every frat douche named Chad or Zach was just foaming at the mouth waiting for their chance to bed a Bush.

Warren is “assessing” her campaign after Super Tuesday.

C’mon, Elizabeth! You lost IN YOUR HOME STATE!

(Can’t wait to see how she spins this one…!)

Maybe she is waiting for Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé and Al Pacino to weigh in before she decides what to do.

I know I am.

On a serious note…

Most likely the voters in Massachusetts were not necessarily voting against Warren…but were voting for someone they felt could beat Trump?

Just a thought.

Apparently, they had more ethnic tastes.

If it were Alabama I would say you are giving the voters too much credit but we’re talking the Northeast so maybe.

Smoke signals like that are hard to read when it comes to a serious candidate like Warren. It’s not like the primary voters have a pow-wow to talk things through. I’m not quite ready to stick an arrow in Warrens campaign, but it doesn’t bode well if her local tribe wants the white man to be chief.

(I saw what you did, @twojarslave…!)

Trump has got to be kinda’ pleased about the choices so far (basically Bernie and Biden).

(I think Biden already has a nickname (Sleepy Joe?). Does Bernie have one yet?)

The DEMS are putting chum in the water for Trump and the Conservative Machine…

Nice going @twojarslave, lending all this the gravitas it deserves.

Memento mori.

I love latin

I’m particularly looking forward to the back and forth between Trump and Bloomberg as time goes on. I fully expect it to be far more amusing than this skit from the 90s, when it was still ok to make jokes.

Good thing we have reality.

I’m 100% certain that when Trump called Bloomberg Mini Mike, he was making a dick joke. I’m also 100% certain that’s the real reason Bloomberg dropped out.

I watched that video, it was pretty good. But what are you implying?..-that Trump and Biden partied with Epstein together?

Bernie yes. Biden not to me. Biden’s one of the few people who will be tough for Trump to seriously hammer things on. Long career as essentially a working man type appeal. Hard to paint him as far left. His history just doesn’t show that and he’ll tack back to the center like every nomination winning candidate does. Your best attack on him is age but hard to run as the youthful candidate when you’re 73, obese, and wear orange makeup. Hard to attack him as a creepy old dude if you’re old and creepier. At best that stuff’s a wash. Probably won’t be seriously brought up by either campaign as it’s not a strength.

You can tie him to Obama I suppose but not sure how successful that will be. Obama has a pretty high approval rating and his time is generally remember much more fondly than say tying McCain to bush in 08. Hit him on Obamacare pessimism seems like a long shot to me. I mean the Republican Party ran for 8 years on repeal and replace and then didn’t when they had all the power. I don’t know how team Trump begins to make a successful healthcare argument.

To me if I’m a Trump strategist Biden/Bloomberg scare me far more than Bernie/Warren. Probably have some success generally scaring average voter with some attacks on the latter two. Just not sure the same scare tactics work as well with the former. Biden doesn’t excite the left but doesn’t need to. They will be out in droves to vote against Trump. Biden doesn’t scare the right but doesn’t need to. Trumps base will definitely come out no matter what.

My head tells me that if the economy is roaring a President can’t lose but if anyone can it will be Trump simply because he’s the master of hurting himself. Biden will hurt himself as well, but Trumps wounds have shown to be more significant and frequent.

Trumps going to have a massive cash lead and the potential for a better grassroots effort as Biden has been lacking there and with his lack of excitement on the left not sure how many sign up to pound the pavement for him. All of that has the potential to hurt him for sure.

Plus: He’s got a double-barrel shotgun and stood up to Corn Pop.

Might help him get elected if he can’t be painted as a gun grabber!

Although Trump can always claim he stopped a third plane from hitting the towers or something as a positive for him? Debates could be like VH1 story tellers without the music. Come round and listen to two old men forget the past!
