One on the left has promised anything as nutty as trump. He promised to eliminate the debt in 8 years and cover everyones health care at a cheaper cost. Unlike him some Democrats actually have ways they would pay for it.
He really hasn’t. No one was really looking to him for it. You’d think that would be more popular among states rights folks who want smaller federal govt., but any philosophical or ideological nuance has gotten completely lost in the last few years.
No borders, free everything, student loan forgiveness, a wall is racist, take guns, whites are the cause of the world’s ills, etc… Agree to disagree. In my estimation the left is hell bent on destroying this country.
Well, it would be pretty interesting if the Republicans legalized MJ federally. It would be a risk for sure, but reward in that it drives DEM turnout, which would be reduced after.
I think the same could be said for DEMs and abortion. Would be pretty crazy if they started to be pro-life (as that is a big driver in Republican turn out).
As a minority myself everything the Dems / left stand for is offensive to me.
Stop. Speaking. For. Us. We’re not a monolith nor do we need your pity and pandering. When was the last time you heard any of these frauds encourage minorities to make better decisions, stay in school, raise your kids, find a job or trade, act like you have a brain when dealing with cops. You don’t. they only pander to our emotions.

I support things like a balanced budget through increasing taxes, AND reduced spending. I can’t find a political party that represents those values. What if we had surplus. What if we could get returns on that surplus.
I’d rather they use our taxes more efficiently. We’re already taxed to death.

I don’t think anyone is hell bent on destroying the country. That would be a weird thing to run on. I also don’t think every single candidate feels the same on every issue so lumping them together is a mistake. Also some of what they propose is impossible to achieve politically the way our system is setup. Which hardly makes them unique as Republicans also promise things they can’t deliver.
I’m not sure any of them have said whites are the cause of all the problems. That seems to be a right wing talking point. And it would be easy to argue that Trump feels the opposite way (non whites are the cause of the nations ills) if we cherry pick comments.
Is tax certain people less and spend more more fiscally responsible than tax certain people more and spend more?

I agree with using money efficiently. If you do some research you will see that in the future just the interest on “our” debt will become a huge burden. What if we could have the benefit of receiving interest instead of paying it? I would support increasing taxes and decreasing benefits for a time if we could receive interest in the future.
I also use this philosophy in real life. My coworkers make fun of my car, and I could afford a larger house, more material things, but I prefer to invest as much as possible. Soon (really 10+ years) I hope to make as much from my investments as I do working.

So did President Obama…the least of which was navigating us out of the worst recessions since the last Depression; saving the jobs of people who wouldn’t give him the time of day; and expanding health coverage (under a VERY imperfect plan) that covered the uninsurable and kids until age 26. (Among other benefits).
I would be happy if Conservatives just recognize the first.
