Biden to me is as probably as close to a moderate either side will have on the table for 2020. Bloomberg maybe but I’m not super familiar with his background.
I would also note that everyone is less moderate during primaries usually as you have to appeal to the base.
We’re just picking through turds for the good corn.
It’s not even an actual debate. More of a demonstration of how in American politics people can get what they want and still be disagreeable and unhappy about the results.
You leave the Super bowl champion Chiefs out of this! Seriously have spent over 300 dollars on Chiefs super bowl stuff and my wife doesn’t even give a shit. Other than the birth of the kids and the wedding day that’s one of the biggest days ever.
Technically you’d be wrong as those east coast states wrapped up voting earlier in 2016 than the national election due to timezones haha. Unless I am mistaken?
Again I am not arguing that nothing has happened in regards to legal MJ since trump has been in office. I am arguing against your point that more has been done with trump in office than any other president as that is incorrect.
I also find your saying that the legalization that happened before he took office should count towards the tally of legalization to be credited to him to be absurd. If you want to define things in ways counter to general understanding, that is fine, you do you.
Long before running for president, Trump voiced strong opinions on drug legalization. In April 1990 in an article in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Trump said the United States should legalize drugs and use the money collected to educate the public on the dangers of drug use.
At the same time I don’t think he has been active in trying to enact that stance. I don’t think it plays well with much of his base (IIRC self identified republicans had lower approval of MJ legalization than general public).
