That’s fine. I don’t want to infringe upon your rights to stick your fingers in your ears and yell “Big Orange Bad Guy Bad!” so you just go on with yourself.
Place what ever conditions you want on it. Trump got elected and a whole bunch of states went legal/medical/recreational.
Nope. Just adding on to what you said to hopefully make the picture clearer for the poster from Oz.
I think that contradiction is confusing for a lot of folks, especially from outside the country though. Trump, and what he has turned the party into, isn’t very conservative, despite the GOP advertising they are the party of conservatism.
The problem is the evidence does not support you claim.
You can make shit up all you want. Refuse to provide evidence, accuse unreal of doing the same as what you do all you want. I am just calling it what it is and that is BS.
So it wasn’t legal, he got elected and a whole bunch of states changed their laws.
Why you mad?
That’s a whole lot of green in 2016. Especially when you distinguish the difference between decriminalize, which is a reduction in penalty, and legalize which allows for commerce.
And that was also a case of Sessions talking out of both sides of his mouth.
From the article:
The Trump administration’s action seemed incongruous with comments that Trump, a Republican, made during the 2016 presidential campaign. Trump told a TV news reporter that the decision to legalize marijuana should be left “up to the states.”
And you can chalk up policy all the way back to Ford.
I just like to make people’s heads explode by pointing out that so much happened After Trump was elected.
I don’t know why you think I am mad. I am just pointing out that the amount of states that legalized (rec or medical), or decriminalized MJ under Trump was less than under Obama. This is counter to your original assertion.
Meh, seems disingenuous to me, but you do you. The damn broke during the Obama presidency, the large majority of recreational legalization happened under the Obama presidency, and trump inherited that seachange.
If I look at the article you posted much more happened between 09-2016, then 2017 to present. Even if we are talking about legalization of rec or medical, and decriminalization. It is consistent with the Wikipedia article I posted.
Because we have a gridlocked system where neither side is willing to give the other side anything. I’m not sure who I would label as conservative on either side. I’m sure some exist in their hearts but on the whole no. Republicans completely gave that up the moment they elected Trump. I’m not sure how one could even begin to think he’s conservative or that the people in his party would shoot him down on most things they want because of their conservative principles.
We probably have a lot of people who describe themselves as that but if we’re talking about actually pushing things I just don’t see it.
“Our mission is simple: To defeat Trump in 2020 and his biggest supporters in Congress so that conservative principles might return again to the center of the Republican Party.“
I love this synopsis of Bernie and Trump. Authenticity is very valuable in the culture we live in now. For better or worse. Trump is a lying, scumbag degenerate, but, he doesn’t pretend to be anything else. Bernie is ultra left with radical views, but again, he doesn’t pretend to be anything else. I’m a moderate but I’ll support anyone not named Trump.
So since trump took office (2017) medical and rec MJ has been legalized 3 times in different states. The data just does not add up that more legalization has happened under Trump vs Obama.
