The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

Clearly he has something to hide. NDA wasn’t necessary because HIPPA is basically the same. Some refused to sign it and were removed from his care.

The ones that refused to sign them were not allowed to treat, per the report.

I want to ask Mr. @Mufasa what his feelings are currently on 4 more years of MAGA. I think polling has shifted since the last time I have seen that sentiment from him.

Many of the states that Trump narrowly won in 2016 are polling worse for him compared to 2016. IIRC, places like WI and PA were polling 2-3 points advantage Clinton, and Trump won by less than a percent in each. Biden is leading by 6-7 points in each. The polls can be wrong (generally error is 4%, which makes sense given examples in 2016). I don’t see a 6-7 point lead in polls going the other way. Maybe I am wrong?

I doubt it.

I’ll go out on a limb and assume this is directed at the point I’ve been driving home for over a year now…

I take it you’re moving the goalpost from white supremacists to right wing militia, eh?

Do you believe that a successfully thwarted plot of 6 guys with no mention of race-based motivations for what they were doing strengthens the narrative of the white supremacist menace being peddled by Biden and Harris?

Which tweet of Donald Trump’s do you think emboldened them the most?

I don’t believe I said that. If I wanted Trump to perform poorly on this than maybe you would have a point. Trump fucked this up and only his diehards who don’t believe it’s possible for him to mess up think otherwise. He’s been a disaster during this crisis.

I said the country needed a leader. Trump isn’t one.

I still think it’s too hard to tell. I think the Biden ground game has largely been non existent. A lot of people will vote by absentee but how much can you count on that to be accurate. We know that potentially many votes will be thrown out because of people not doing it correctly (hanging chads 2.0?). I’m not doubting the polls being pretty well in line but this election is not like any other in terms of how those votes are going to happen. So if we have polls that show Biden in front but those voters stay home because of Covid fears or don’t get their absentee ballot in time or fill it out wrong? Whole new ballgame.

Incorrect. No goal post moving. Point is simple - there’s a criminal complaint filed against 6 people for a conspiracy to kidnap the governor of a state, and they ain’t part of “existential threat” groups like Antifa!!1! Or BLM!!1!!

I ask this over and over to Trumpkins - if Trump was doing all this in the capacity of a CEO for a large company owned by someone else, would he still have a job?

I am not saying Biden is a sure thing or anything like that. Trump certainly has a reasonable chance. I am mostly asking Mufassa, because he at one point seemed fairly confident about a second Trump term. With what we know right now, I wouldn’t make that bet unless you gave me 8:1 odds or something like that. The odds at which I would place a bet will likely change in the coming weeks.

No doubt there is concern about our election process. There is currently a district in Texas that has one ballot drop box for a population of 4.5 million. Even if that box could handle a ballot a second 24/7 it couldn’t handle all the votes. People better be ready to vote in person in areas like this.

I hope after this election, we outlaw most of the techniques used to discourage voting.

I see. I stand corrected. How does the story of 6 extremists in Michigan relate to this thread, then?

This is a silly comparison because there is no company on the planet that’s limited to one replacement choice if your CEO isn’t performing as well as you’d like.

If I’m overall unhappy with Trump’s performance as CEO and my only choice to replace him is Joe Biden, I’ll stick with Trump.

If I could somehow get Elon Musk, I’d probably go with him to run my company. He seems like a fun guy to work for. But we don’t get Elon Musk, we get to choose between Biden and Trump or vote for someone who won’t win.

I posted it here because I felt it had a lot to do with 2020 election seeing that trump tweeted to his minions to “liberate Michigan “.

Nope, it isnt, so just answer it - would he still have a job at this point?

I see. Do you believe that Trump’s tweet in April inspired these 6 men to hatch their failed plot?

Do you believe Trump meant that people should kidnap the Governor, or simply vote her out?

I did. Yes, Trump would still be running my company if my only choice to replace him is Joe Biden.

If I could choose someone more capable, Trump would be out.

I literally laughed out loud. Cultists gonna cult, I guess.

Maybe non-engineering roles are different, but I know an individual who works for SpaceX as an engineer, and they get worked really hard. Lots of turnover, lots of layoffs. I think for a certain type of person it is a good fit, but it is high pressure / stress for the engineers at least.

I’ve only ever looked at a Tesla, so I was just pulling his name out of the air.

FWIW, I would look closely at Musk and his policies if he ever runs (which I wouldn’t be surprised by). He is clearly good at some things. He does have a tendency to stick his foot in his mouth a lot.

I really liked Yang, but wasn’t sold on all of his ideas (UBI most specifically, although I think on that it comes down to how it is implemented. Giving everyone $500/month or less might work, giving everyone $1000 would lead to a big drop in productivity IMO).

Haven’t you been blaming Trump for people not complying with COVID rules? Seems like you’ve been saying he IS one…
