The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

Exhibit…oh Hell, I’ve lost track of where we are on proof of this. Conservatism, Inc. is a big scam, and Trumpism is its nadir:

Here’s how it works, cultists:

  1. They send out letters/posts begging for money To Save The Country From The Libs!

  2. They collect money from tens, even hundreds of thousands of people on the Right

  3. They live like kings having suckered the Right of their hard earned cash

And it’s an industry - Wayne LaPierre made a career of it.

They think you’re a bunch of stupid marks.

No they are not but trump says its just a continuation of his so called witch hunt? The thing is that they are catching a lot of damned witches!

Pro-life GOP has never really been a thing. Pro birth maybe. Once kids are born forget them.

The out-of-touch coastal elites are shamelessly fleecing hard working people.

That’s why the people voted …. checks through notes … for DJT and his campaign manager Steve Bannon in 2016 to put an end to this. Glad it’s working out so well.

The Southern District of New York seems to be the one truly “draining the swamp”.

I really don’t care that much about Biden or Trump granting an audience to these two, but since you seem to care it probably good to reflect on Trump and Kanye West’s affair, and Cardi’s a neophyte when it comes to punching out X rated lyrics compared to West.

  1. “I’m In It” ( Yeezus )

“Chasin’ love, all the bittersweet hours lost/ Eatin’ Asian p—y, all I need was sweet and sour sauce”

This embarrassing line is almost too weak to include, but snuck its way in based on offensiveness alone. And they’re not even the most foul bars on the track.

  1. “New Slaves” ( Yeezus )

“F–k you and your Hampton house/ I’ll f–k your Hampton spouse/ Came on her Hampton blouse/ And in her Hampton mouth”

The repetition in these bars makes it clear what West thinks about your Long Island bourgeois beaches, and hints at a proclivity for rapping about spreading his seed.

  1. “The Joy” ( Watch the Throne )

“Gave her a handshake only for my man’s sake/ She in her birthday suit cause of the damn cake/ Now there’s crumbs all over the damn place/ And she want me to come all over her damn face”

The basic AABB rhyme structure here makes it seem dumber than it actually is – until you consider the “damn cake” is his money and the birthday suit/cake metaphor adds another layer. And Kanye skeets, yet again.

… and the list goes on

Sincerely asking

You don’t believe there is an entrenched combination of unelected bureaucrats and lobbyists that create and perpetuate policy according to their own vision, irrespective of their elected ‘boss’?

How so from your view?
Education, housing, medical attention, or other?

I would have been skeptical until I ended up as a consultant for state government and saw it play out over a year. We pissed tens of millions away together, accomplishing nothing seemingly on purpose. The project was formally shelved without any media coverage or fanfare when the next governor took office.

That’s just one way un-elected bureaucrats can derail the objectively good policies of a duly-elected governor performing legitimate executive branch functions. It helps when state employees have made it very hard to fire state employees.

Bannon

You do have to consider it rather amateurish compared to fancy Finance instruments like derivatives, options, equity market trading after the original transaction, most non profits, or even political contributions. LOL

I listened to Biden’s acceptance speech this morning. I thought it was well delivered, despite what sounded like cotton mouth or a thick tongue.

But, what struck me most was the content and tone of it… and goddamn i have been missing that tone from our leaders. It wasnt fear mongering and sniping at “the other side”. It wasnt them and us, divisive, etc. It was hopeful, it was positive, it was a speech about what WE as a nation could accomplish TOGETHER. I want my leaders (whether its a coach, boss, or POTUS) to motivate me and make me want to fight for my “brother next to me”, not talk shit about that brother, and i very much had that motivating feeling from Biden’s speech.

I thought the DNC speeches were well coordinated with most of the speakers leading up to Biden focused on attacking and ripping apart trump (though Barack just cant help himself from coming off hopeful haha). And then Biden came swooping in at the end with a hopeful, positive speech meant to inspire.

I think the DNC pretty well nailed their convention about as well as could be reasonably expected.

I’m not a Trump supporter. I’m a be humble voting for Biden if you’re an Orange man bad type.

2020 is for sure a lesser of 2 evils/hold your nose and vote situation. I am not thrilled, and All-In for Biden. However, i am pretty much All-In against trump. I am under no illusions about that, and i think a lot of Biden voters are on that same page.

I really would have been stoked to have Mayor Pete be the candidate. I liked darn near everything about that dude as a candidate.

Well the tweet quoted by TB is a Republican candidate endorsed by Trump celebrating the death of people crossing the Mediterranean. Does that sound pro life to you? People trying to flee a country that die is celebrated?

Which party fights tooth and nail to decrease or vilify people on government assistance? Fights to defund or ridicules education? Fights against healthcare coverage? Wants to put kids in cages?

If we’re going to insist that everyone who is pregnant must have the child how is it ok to not do everything possible to help those kids out?

Oh come on. Do you really need to hold your nose for Biden. The guy is center left garden variety Democrat. You would have been pumped to have him over Hillary in 2016 (and that was an actual hold your nose for either situation). He is going to be predictable, give good speeches, and not be an embarrassment on the world stage.

Out of all the things I disliked about him policywise, that was one thing I always felt was a great positive.

No one here seriously believes Biden is either a) His own man with his own ideas now or b) will last any amount of time in office with any acceptable mental capacity.

Do they?

Hold my nose might be hyperbole, you’re right. But, I do find it tough to stomach that the DNC just flat out ignored Bidens history with women, and i would like to see a younger more “with-it” candidate. Compared to trump, i will gladly breathe deeply while voting for Biden, but i really thought that there were better democratic candidates, they just needed the weight of the party behind them to become more well known.
