What do you think about the Bloomberg/Clinton rumors?
There’s a very unfortunate belief that black Americans are a homogenous group that engage in group think. It’s insulting and racist.
I met so many great black citizens that supported our efforts yet had to remain silent as the fear of reprisal was there.
Why’s that ? The support I mean.
I believe if most blacks knew what exactly the BLM agenda was, they would call it stupid.
I’m afraid to ask…but what are the rumors?
Are they still a thing ?
(Sorry, @doogie…I was thinking something more “ominous”…)
Do you mean the running mate possibility?
Bloomberg would be INSANE to do it (As well as picking Bernie or Warren).
As it stands; Amy Klobuchar (with her Midwestern appeal) would be a much better choice (IMO).
I think their last cause was freeing some English rapper called Savage something or other from ICE. They should change their name to Black Criminal Lives Matter.
He won’t pick Clinton for many reasons, one being she will say something to make people hate her more than they do already. Bernie and Warren are too far left for Bloomberg.
Ha. Good Lord… I think I actually heard that. In Sweden ?
I think he’s intriguing for sure. I mean clearly we don’t have much of a problem with older super wealthy people running the show. What’s hilarious is the people who act like him or Trump speak to the average American but most of us are incredibly stupid so it’s not surprising. By intriguing I mean someone clearly different than most of the rest of the field.
It remains to be seen if most likely to beat Trump is enough for something like this. I mean I think we can all think to ourselves that Bloomberg or Biden would be more formidable than Bernie in a one on one due to a variety of factors but that doesn’t always give one the nomination. It’s very possible Republicans ran one of the few people who could have lost to Clinton. I don’t think most likely to beat her was at the forefront and I’m not just not sure enough times this is really what motivates people in a primary.
Biden doesn’t excite anyone despite a lot of people knowing Trump would have trouble challenging him in many areas. I’m not sure how much Bloomberg excites people either although these tend to be about momentum and some big showings could put it at a one on one with Bernie which could potentially be favorable for him.
Bottom line?
He is viewed more and more as someone who can beat Trump.
Question to all:
Is this really what we have come to?
Will our choices in November be Bernie and Trump?
(And many thought out choices in 2016 were bad?).
God help us.
Bernie and a Republican senate is better than Trump and a Republican senate.
God bless the two party system. Anything that gives you Trump vs H Clinton as the only two winnable choices is broken beyond repair.
I can see Bloomberg going third party after he flames out with the Dems.
Interesting thought, Doogs…
We’ll have to watch this.
Looks like Bernie is on a roll.
MAGA.
4 more years.
Amen…!
And now it’s going to give us Bernie and Trump???
I don’t know how Trump hangs himself though. He does sh*t that would cause others to hang themselves all the time but for him it hardly registers.
