The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

CNN and MSNBC appear to combine for higher viewership than Fox News. You also have to consider the source of most Americans’ views on anything: celebrities.

Nope. Local news. That’s why Sinclair Broadcast takeover of local news stations across the country was hugely important for the God Emperor and the GOP.

In a survey held in the United States in May 2019, it was revealed that the most trusted news source was local television. A total of 74 percent of respondents said that they could trust their local TV stations to report news and information accurately, compared to just 49 percent who said the same about national newspapers.

Of course, someone couldn’t keep his mouth shut about this masterstroke that created a conservative media behemoth masquerading as local news coverage:

We’re talking about different things. You’re talking about news sources; I’m talking about views that they(average Americans) see as being cool and acceptable.

The Tea Party was fantastic for the 0.02 seconds it existed outside of higher up control

…and the Hits keep right on coming…

"The White House has withdrawn the nomination of former U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu for a top post at the Treasury Department, CBS News has confirmed. Liu was previously the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, where she oversaw the prosecutions of Trump associate Roger Stone, former national security adviser Michael Flynn and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort."

…but OBAMA…!

Right…

I agree that a lot of Trump’s stuff is self-inflicted, but how in the world did you not interpret “clinging to their guns and bibles” as being condescending?

And yes…it’s Trump’s right to do what he wants:

“President Donald Trump suggested the military should consider disciplinary action against Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a key witness in the House impeachment inquiry, and said there could be more departures from his administration related to the proceeding”.

“We sent him on his way to a much different location, and the military can handle him any way they want,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday. “General Milley has him now. I congratulate General Milley. And yes…there will be more to come…”

Okay, @doogie

It was condescending and should have had the World in an uproar…
President Obama should never had said it.

Now let’s put it in perspective with all of the petty, condescending, vulgar, hateful, vindictive and irresponsible things Trump has said and Tweeted…continues to say and Tweet…and will continue to say and Tweet (MAGA…4 more years…)

Are they all of equal volume and ferocity to the things that President Obama publicly said?

It’s not even close.

You are moving the goalposts.

Biden is inundating the radio waves, supposedly to talk about health care. In my very strongly held opinion, he is using health care as an excuse to exploit the personal tragedy of his first wife dying in a car crash, and then his son dying of cancer.

It’s sickening.

Bloomberg appears to be the one who is making Biden more and more irrelevant.

Now…he has yet to get on a debate stage…but if somehow the DEMS (especially Sanders and Warren) think that they are going to defeat him by going the “buying-the-election” route…many pundits are saying that is a failed strategy.

In fact many are feeling now that Bloomberg is the only one who can go against Trump toe-to-toe…the rest of the field will be destroyed by Trump. (Can you imagine Trump having the benefit of this economy…then Bernie arguing about taxing the hell out of people? Eeeeeee…)

Two other interesting things about Bloomberg

  1. Unless you are a far-left, “progressive” Bernie-ite…“regular folks” seem to not be having a problem with Bloomberg throwing around a lot of money.

  2. A member of the Congressional Black Caucus (many of whom seem to be leaning toward Bloomberg) said in essence last night that (and I’m paraphrasing)…that black folks need to either get over stop-and-frisk…or get ready for 4 more years of Trump.

This is all getting very interesting…and based on Trump’s Tweet’s and actions, he’s worried about Bloomberg. (Probably time to call in his Bro. VladimirP?)

@zecarlo and @H_factor :

What do you think about Bloomberg?

He’s older than Biden but appears more coherent and less likely to say something bizzarre. Sanders can get called crazy but it’s hard to imagine Bloomberg getting the crazy commie leftist label. He’s much wealthier than Trump so he can claim to be the better businessman and you know that bothers Trump. He’s better educated as well and can claim experience as he was the mayor of NYC. He’s what Trump claims to be without the crazy. Biden had been seen as a moderate choice with broader appeal than Warren or Sanders. I think Bloomberg will be the same but without the career politician and creepy label.

He will be a problem for Trump. One of the more controversial issues with Bloomberg is stop and frisk however, Trump praised it.

(Like hanging out with Corn-Pop and his Bro’s?)

Thanks.

I am slowly going from Trump being almost inevitable (MAGA-4 more years)…to at LEAST
“…Wait…Bloomberg ain’t going away quietly…”

I think Trump still has the edge…(he’s an evil shit who can pull out all the stops. Remember all of the Clinton accusers being put on the front row at the last “pussy-grabbing” Debate with Hillary?)…but Bloomberg seems like a guy who looks at Trump as a half-assed businessman and a lightweight.

And yes…that gets way under Trump’s skin.

Hillary was an idiot to have Bill in the same state as the debate. A good question would be what dirt Bloomberg has on Trump.

@zecarlo

IF (and it’s a BIG “if”)…if Bloomberg gets to the point of debating Trump…he seems like a guy who will sit back and let Trump hang himself.

However; as I pointed out earlier; everything is about the “win” for Trump…by any means possible.

(Speaking of Bill at that last “pussy-grabbing” debate…that bug-eyed scary look he had during the whole debate was kind of unnerving, IMO…)

It looks like Bloomberg is gaining a lot of support among African American voters.

This is NOT good news for Biden.

I would guess because, in spite of the feelings about stop and frisk, he was tough on crime and in spite of what people might assume about how African-Americans view crime and the justice system, blacks are actually in favor of a tough stance on crime. They probably also like his views on education.
