The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

I can see, in the video “police” clearly on their persons…Front and back. Unmistakable. You all do realize this right? And look at the shoulders. They are marked…Why are you guys continuously saying that? I’m so confused as to what you guys are even looking at. The viral video from the arrest accompanying this story that started these accusations? They’re flat out marked as law enforcement. They might as well have it in glowing neon.

Say you’re an innocent bystander (truly) who gets hurt by one these federal police - how do you identify them for purposes of pressing your claim against them?

The arrest in question. They are clearly marked as law enforcement. Period.

The identifier number. Doxing and threats to families have them using number IDs

When it is well lit sure. When in dim lighting, it would be pretty tough to tell.

Additionally, going with non-standard uniforms that most people have never seen before does cause confusion. I think this is a big reason for consistent uniforms.

I mean…you can say that about most clothing. But I plainly see them marked in the viral video that fueled this story.

But you do concede they are marked.

I guess having to wear helmets and masks during rioting is unreasonable. Can’t make out their features! Come on. The whole premise of this story was false. They’re plainly marked in the video

Heh. I love you, man, but you’re in they can do no wrong and I won’t hear anything to the contrary territory. If that squad in that picture roughed you up, you have no idea who did what (do you even see an identifier number on the uniform?), and the chances of you remembering Employee X9e5G@€ is next to nil.

Citizens have rights, Sloth, even the ones you don’t like or agree with.

They are marked police sure. Since most people have never seen uniforms like this, isn’t it reasonable for someone to conclude that they are not legit police? Haven’t people forged gear like this in the past?

Could the reason they dont own anything but camo uniforms be because they arent trained for anything but operations that require camo uniforms? hmmmmm.

Maybe there needs to be a national riot police force. A trained group of 1000 uber patient, experienced agents that could be deployed in groups of 50 to jurisdictions that request help so more of the local officers can stay out on patrol.

Love you too man! Heh. Always enjoy these exchanges with you guys. Going to head out for bit. Hope to catch you all later. Be safe to you all. Know my disagreements don’t amount to hatred. I respect all of you as my concerned and intelligent fellow citizens.

You probably weren’t innocent. I would even argue that a bystander would have more to fear from Antifa.

We could call it a SWAT team. Social workers and therapists.

Those people had zero doubts the officers were officers.

I guess it is possible you are right. I wouldn’t bet on it though.

Here’s the thing: if we were truly a fascist nation, we wouldn’t even be talking about this because people would disappear and no one would know anything other than, “have you seen Brad lately?”

Also, if people were grabbed in public, no one would confront the police and ask for their names; they would be too busy running away.

Yes. A coworker and friend once pointed out how we know Americans don’t fear the Police: the way they behave towards them.

Would you go along with two armed, masked guys without resistance, not knowing who they were or why they were taking you? Your friends wouldn’t try to help?

I am not sure they were going without resistance.

I already said above that if I were not convinced, I would probably fight back.

The video shows the guy going without resistance. You can also hear the woman saying, “We’ll get you out,” or something to that effect. Get him out of where? They knew exactly where he was going. There was no fear that he was being abducted.

Does that video capture all of the events we are discussing?
