The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

Hey, skipping the reading - just like your hero!

Update - someone finally read his brief to him.

Guilty. I am constantly astonished at my own ignorance. I can’t believe I don’t have twitter!

Got it.

Is this a casus belli in your opinon?

Assuming not, what do you believe the response should have been?

I don’t have Twitter either - but I have an internet connection, as do you.

At a minimum, not advancing Russia’s interests. Next, probably sanctions.

But our Big Alpha Male In Chief instead curls up comfortably on Putin’s lap.

I’ve been working most of the day. I like chirping off on t-nation during conference calls, not reading the news as it is published.

SoRrY iF yOuVe GoT a PrOblEm WiTh ThAt @*&^5

If what you say is true, this is borderline casus belli in my opinion. Of course, none of you guys have a very good track record of making any kind of accurate predictions about Trump, but I’ll still entertain the possibility that you’ve covered the important details here. Maybe this is the time your analysis pans out.

I’ll do my news reading in the morning, as I usually do.

The WH defense of the Russian bounties scandal is basically “yes, it was written down for him in February but we all know the POTUS doesn’t read so the blame lays squarely on those that haven’t read him the daily brief”

That’s amazing. Also, it’s worth considering what Trump actually did on that day in February when the intelligence finding was reported to him:

Here is something more worthwhile for you than arguing with the anti trump zealots

key take-aways being: anonymous whistle blower once again
same NYT writers so involved in Russian collusion again
Russia and Putin as puppet master again

I had a very sincere post about my morning reading habits, but I’ve edited the interesting parts out. First off, I didn’t want to inadvertently embolden any white supremacists, lest they step out of the shadows and begin to take actions. Second, I don’t want to give anyone the wrong idea about how long my bowel movements can be, or whether there’s any biological connection between that and how much time I spend reading on the toilet.

Let’s keep this thread at an appropriate level of discourse, with appropriate gravity placed on the subject matter.

“With him, all roads lead to Putin. I don’t know what the Russians have on the president politically, personally, financially, or whatever it is. But he wants to ignore, he wants to bring [Russia] back into the G8 despite the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Ukraine…despite what they yielded to him in Syria, despite his intervention into our elections which is well documented by our intelligence community and despite possibly this allegation which we should have been briefed on,” Pelosi said.

I’m just surprised she was unable to weave the George Kirby story into her allegations.

And of course, I’m still breathlessly waiting for Schumer’s take on the matter:

“Who do you believe when it comes to civil rights and police accountability? Mitch McConnell, or the lawyer for the families of Floyd Taylor, uh, George Taylor,” Schumer said.

Of course The Orange One is going to fall short when compared against such storied Peers.

Be honest…I mean I absolutely despise Pelosi and Schumer, they might be my least favorite pols besides DT. But they don’t make anywhere near as many blatant gaffes as Trump. They’ve been in power too long and are too smart to make that many mistakes.

Do you honestly believe Uncle Joe will be the one running this country if he’s elected? At least 3+ years have given me evidence to believe I can live with whoever is actually running the country behind the scenes while DT is busy tweeting about sundry concerns.

Nope, but with people that old I’m not surprised. I’m not conspiracy minded about it though. I can’t argue with your experience since it’s yours. However I can’t and won’t give my vote to someone who is so aligned against my ethics, and on top of it is too much of a child to have the discipline to read shit and do shit he should have months ago.

If I could get a super majority of GOP in both houses, particularly Paleo conservatives - I would trade out Trump. But for that to happen, I might as well jump on the train.

At this point, I see it as a simple vote for law & order vs. a vote for the possibility of state sanctioned chaos. And a “possibility” is still too much for me. I don’t even look at it as Biden vs. Trump anymore.

Ok, I don’t particularly think of Trump as a real, actual law and order POTUS, but I understand. Here’s the flip side of that. Biden has the chance to actually calm people down and bring them (somewhat) together. Trump is guaranteed to divide more.

Also I think there is absolutely zero chance of state sponsored chaos

Is that a real term? Because I like it!

I already see it. Maybe not “sponsored”, “accepted”.

Where?
