My memes were purely a laugh not to attack him. The fat one was about how he always said people called him obese etc. I liked the guys posts and even pm’d him saying I liked what he had provided to TN etc and even thanked me. I don’t read a lot of wordy posts which were probably the ones everyone is talking about in the other memes.
Most people deserved the hate X threw their way. They could comprehend the simplicity of their desires. They would say “I want this” and he would be like, no shut the fuck and just keep lifting. He definitely discouraged questions because he wanted to see who was serious and who was here to socialize. Obviously you can do both, but the masses who engaged in inane discussion were ridiculous.
I believe the only time he was ever wrong was when he claimed Kai was 225 natural. If you start taking steroids at a young age YOUNG AGE it will cause hypertrophy in muscles *THAT AREN"T DEVELOPED IN THE GYM" like huge mssaters, diaphram, and erectors.
I am sad, he made himself a lightening rod for the young kids, he kept them accountable, and they kept quiet out of respect. I don’t think we need him, but he will certainly leave a large space on the grill next T-Nation cookout empty of Hamburgers.

I can appreciate that you would take offense to him if he directed insults at you but it seems like he directly insulted everybody based on the many responses.

I say this with all respect Lou, but don’t you think he DID insult many, many people directly? I’ve sure seen him do it a hell of a lot.
He insulted me. I laughed, went back to my life. People got way to offended almost everytime he posted. He literally felt like an older brother. My real bro was hard on me until I had internalized the rules, and people here just had no patience or respect.

Really?? The ONLY time?? You’re kidding, right?
Please explain the second part of that post. Erectors aren’t developed in a gym?

Yes, I think a few people either don’t entirely understand the concept behind a solid meme or are just using the idea/this thread as an outlet to be dicks.
This wasn’t intended to be an ‘I Hate Professor X’ thread… there’s already one of those. Discussing how douchey some people felt he came across isn’t what I had in mind, at all.
This thread is about a few lines on a picture that humorously capture the essence of his posting style or persona.
Good post.
Alright now, homos, enough with the “does he or doesn’t he deserve it” and let us get back to the memes.
Edit - hoping this scores some e-points with hallowed

Eh don’t think I actually meant the ones your try hit deadlifting. I’m mostly talking about the muscles involved in breathing. I suspect bodybuilders fall victim to over hypertrophy in the muscles involved in breathing which we usually attribute only to GH use on these forums.
I’m not joking, most of the time when confronted with pesky people he handled himself as he should. I will not speak for anyone else and their personal relationship.
Does anyone have contact with X? What if something more drastic happened then him just leaving?

(GG)I definitely do not believe you condemn the bench press at all X, and apologies if that was inferred (my post was straight after so I can see how that may have been).
I appreciate the story you tell about your chest development.
The race issue is unfortunate. The country I’m from is relatively speaking excellent with racial relations (New Zealand), so I am hesitant to jump into that side of things.
I also agree with your last comment re; bodybuilding, and would also add not “do it cause its a complicated flash exercise”
(PX)I jump right into it because I know what I am writing is true. I am the only guy here who gets questioned as much about my profession and everything I write. There are other dentists here, other chiropractors, other surgeons…yet have you ever…EVER…heard even one of them get questioned about it as if they couldn’t possibly be one?
It doesn’t really bother me because I’ve gotten that shit since I first logged in and posted a picture. I just hate that people pretend that it isn’t the case.
(BW)In all seriousness, as a T-Nation, I apologize for all the ignorant posters. I think the LIGHT will turn on for them if they tough it out and train for a decade or two. I am glad you have’nt given up trying to help out where you can. I am not trying to nut-hug Prof X, I just agree with him most of the time, if you want advice given with a motherly , nourshing tone, you will have to pay for it.
Look, a lot of the older posters seem to have become embarrassed by the nature PX had on these boards. It seemed like newbies were gettin jerked around.
There is nothing better than for a young man to be browbeaten by a demanding boss. He saw bodybuilding as simple, eat and lift harder than yesterday. He didn’t listen to excuses because that’s just another reason for quitting. The difference between the great people who have respected me and given me responsibility is the they were either my family or my employer. PX was simple. Prove that you have conviction in your actions and you will absolutely achieve results that he would respect. And chances are, very few of the people he helped will ever get to show him their thanks.

I saw this coming. If X has left and came back before, why would people assume he wouldn’t this time?
