I’m slowly getting the impression with all these professor X threads that people are always looking for the magic bullet for being big and strong. When all the things I keep reading about him are very simple and down to earth. I don’t think there is anything magic about what he does diet or training wise.
He has been dedicated to his diet and training for a long time. He is in the gym 6 days a week, doesn’t make excuses to miss meals, and makes sure he gets plenty of food.
There just isn’t anything fancy about hard work IMO, but I might be talking out my ass.
DoubleDuce, you hit the nail on the head. That’s exactly what’s going on every time someone starts one of these threads. I’m searching for that magic bullet and ProfX must give it to me!
You’re not going to hear ProfX tell you that he has some scientific nutritional formula for getting huge. He follows general principles while you all are trying to find the proverbial needle in the haystack…that one aha moment on how he got so big. Guess what? You’re not going to find it.
Did I say I was looking for that? I don’t think so. I asked if it was just general principles or if it had numbers to it. I guess that makes me a man-lover. Anyway, one way or another I think I got the answer.
Another thing is I did do a search initially for some of the things he and people like him recommend to do, as I’m unsatisfied with the “eat just enough and stay lean while bulking” approach. I got a little from the searching but I wanted to make sure what I found was indeed on the right track, that’s all. I also checked to see that an article like this didn’t exist before, other than the training one and the showering one. Any gay implications for asking for advice I apologize for, and that’s not at all what I meant.

I like how you asked if there were “restrictions on trans fats”.
That was just a random example that I thought seemed to indicate what I was asking, though apparently I was wrong. I also could have just as easily used MSG, HFCS, wheat, potatoes, chicken, tabasco sauce, or rum extract.

That would have been REALLY dumb though. Good thing you didn’t. Just educate yourself on generally accepted nutrition and avoid all the trendy shit, including a lot of what the authors here write. Probably the only real important nugget of advice that BB’ers have that normal nutritionists don’t is to eat extra protein.
We should get X and Cheeta to mate. Their little mocha babies will be beautiful, strong, and hyooge. They will also have wonderful teeth and speak three different languages.
Of course, once escalation kicks in, the stalkers will be frighteningly powerful.
