Haha, I guess it’s going well. Shieko is pretty tortuous at times, like doing reps on deadlifts is horrible on me. I was more out out of breathe than anything else. The sets didn’t feel heavy or anything, just that my lungs were crapping out.
On the positive side, I was quite surprise how much box jumps and the medicine ball slams make a difference. My nervous system felt turned on, and the weight came up with a little bit more explosive than they normally would be. I’m excited and curious to see how much of a difference doing these restoration workouts will make on my overall lifting performance,

I’m only doing that workout once per week until my body acclimates to the extra workout and then I’ll do them twice per week. I’m guessing by the end of Shieko #37, my body can handle twice per week extra workouts. My only concern is that the next block will be the CMS/MS Peaking Program which is a ridiculous amount of volume, so I hope the extra workouts won’t compromise my recovery.

I have begun experimenting with my training by adding in box jumps and chest passes for neural activation in between sets of my squats and benches.
