This is a great video, and I would like your thoughts on it.
I love it! Thanks! Makes complete sense to me.

But…Somalia, and the children!
Damn that was creepy. I felt like I was watching some weird incarnation of A Clockwork Orange. I liked it. “stop asking government to initiate force on their behalf.” Good line.
I’m a Locke, and liberty lover myself but I became disillusioned by these notions after actually learning Locke’s framework, as the very things that make his framework don’t exist today. The thing is there is a key thing that ran out a long time ago; land, resources and the freedom to choose what society you can be a part of or even create our own as happened in the United States.
You have to remember Locke’s framework was relevant (arguably) during times when vast expanses of land were “uninhabited.” And people could literally go out and settle on it, work the land and utilize it’s resources for trade… This aspect of the state of nature is gone. In fact it never existed as the uninhabited places were inhabited by indigenous peoples which were killed, cheated, driven off, made into slaves.
The people who want to hold onto this framework tend to be the ones who have the most, they have their land and want everyone to go find their own. :)Silly.
I thought it was a little simplistic , I do like the premise but life is a bit more complicated

Life is complicated, but Liberty in its truest form is simple. The issue is Washington can not understand it because it is simple. Maybe they should not have cheated in school and actually learned something.
Outstanding. Encapsulates my philosophy precisely.
Congratulations, D. You are a libertarian.

X2.
I think the question everyone needs to ask himself is, “Do I want to be a free man, or do I want to be a lenient and protective master’s slave?”

Are being sarcastic ?
My point was Libertarian and Liberal seem to have more in common than Conservative and Libertarian

If he defends the Varq property, or hires others to do so, then it would be hard to say that he initiated anything. If Varq and Push have bordering properties and either defend or hire others to defend them, then they have initiated nothing. If Stevie Wonder stands on his property and says, “I’m going to whip your tails,” while shaking his fist, then Varq and Push enter Stevie’s property and beat him to a pulp, they have initiated force.

No, I was not being sarcastic. “Liberal” is a common misnomer for the democratic party, but the libertarians are the only group even remotely involved in politics that can be described that way. Democrats and Republicans are both authoritarians, though the Republicans seem a bit more willing to allow the commoner his rights. Republicans typically allow the subjects to keep a bit more of their property. One has no right to the property of another.

I would agree .
I hope you agree also that it is a common misnomer that the Republican party is “Conservative”
