The Obomunist

D) Your last paragraph is simply absurd. What kind of fool wants to spread the idea that our president enjoys another’s misery? Seriously, I am all for trashing the president when he does something wrong, but you are just being mean spirited and not bringing anything to the table with statements like that one. [/quote]

Not the President…I’m talking about a group of people who follow and idolize him. I know more than a few personally who feel exactly this way. Maybe not ALL of them believe this, but the half dozen I know that feel this way relish at the idea of others well off coming into hard times.

I take issue with “severely”. That was mean. Retarded… on it’s own should do.

Maybe “really” retarded but “severely” is just a little rude in my book

I can honestly say that I have never met a human that truly believed in Obama’s policies and relished when people well off came onto hard times. I think that the people you are talking about are just jaded from (I hate to say it) the last 8 years of what the media and their pocketbooks have been telling them, and so they are jumping ship to the democratic bandwagon and bringing their malcontent with them.

Just to point out, the Bush administration was far from what is considered “conservative” (small government), and so to put the Bush administration in the same pool as “The Right” is invalidating the argument. Bush was nothing close to a good example of what “The Right” stands for and so cannot be used in the arguments concerning partisanship. On the other hand, Obama does belong far to the left, as his actions and policies do align, albeit horrifyingly, with communism/socialism.

And just for the record - fascism is actually much more left oriented than right.
