You’re missing the point. I don’t care how you argue your point or if native American’s want less immigration. I am simply pointing out that this is exactly why TB wrote you are arguing as a nativists while not being a native. It’s not a race thing like you tried to make it out to be. You are simply not a part of the “we” in your posts.
That’s all. I don’t care what your argument is. I happen to think it’s a poor one, but that’s irrelevant to my point.
When the supply of jobs is high and the number of jobs are limited are low. When immigrants go from adding to the prosperity to the country to adding to it’s decline (see number of people on welfare).
I know one thing it does take is money and lots of it. I don’t know the financials of the LNC, but I have heard of them getting some big donations in the past.
I know it also takes name recognition.
When the LNC first started I was super excited about it and then it looked like the movement just stalled. It’s been kind of stagnant since.
I think Gary Johnson getting in the debates would go a long way to helping…And it looks like that’s getting possibly closer! I think, particularly in this election cycle, that a level head not a D or an R be on that stage to give stinging answers and present tough questions.
So you admit that there are plenty of people already here who can’t find jobs? If all the jobs are going to new immigrants, why do you want to bludgeon the hopes of people already trying to finding work?
USMC already said it - one million people per year isn’t “mass”. And I am not invested in a white majority, since I am not a racist moron, so the demographic changes in ethnicity over time is not anything I’m losing sleep over.
Why do you keep pointing to this as the reason people don’t have jobs? It is not a light switch that gets flicked, immigration stops and people start working. There are an incredible amount of variables when talking about economic issues, saying immigration is the sole cause of unemployment/welfare for US citizens is laughable.
Legal immigration requires an employer to provide a reason why that job cannot be filled by a current US citizen, at least that is my understanding when working for a company who employed legal immigrants.
