With respect to terror attacks

How many deaths have occurred in terror attacks on US soil perpetrated by a Muslim counted as a part of said 1%?

UMD puts total fatalities between 1995-2014 at 3,264.

Let’s just assume every murder was perpetrated by a US citizen Muslim. In the worst year, 2001, when the worst terror attack in the history of the US occurred .001% of the population was killed in a terror attack.

In 2001, 2,416,425 people died, whic right off the bat is less than 1% of the population (.848%). Less than 1% (.124%) of those 2M were killed in acts of terrorism. More people died from HIV that year (14,113 = .584%). Do you fear sex because “so many deaths” are caused by HIV?

I said months ago and I’ll say it again, this is fear mongering and nothing more.

Terrorism isn’t just about total deaths. It’s about how it effects our everyday quality of life. How we think, the measures of security that’s constantly amped everywhere we go. We now live in a surveillance state where billions of dollars in tax money is thrown away due to this very effect.

Lastly, Muslim terrorism is an external threat that can largely be nipped in the bud (in terms of growth) by simply ending muslim immigration to America. Less muslims less Islamic terrorism.

Lastly I’m glad you used the example of HIV. When I applied for a green card having HIV automatically disqualified your application. Guess why? Less people with HIV means less chances of the disease spreading… HIV and Islam have something in common.

Sure they change and crowd out the culture when in great numbers.

Yes. And that given time, they will blend in with natives and previous immigrants, unless they absolutely flood entire regions with the explicit design to erase the previous population. I’m perfectly willing to acknowledge that this is what is happening in Europe, and do not like it.

I’m glad that you’re okay with accepting at least 1 major Islamic terror attack (plus more as their representation in the population grows) because it’s not a big number. Personally, I think one is too many and if it can be avoided and prevented I’m for it.

You’re right, but I assume that raj (obliquely) does not just want a ban on Muslim immigration, he wants a wholesale travel ban from that region.

He’s still kinda conflating the influx of Muslim immigrants with a terrorist attack that could have been carried out by mere visitors, but I assume his argument is that his brand of Trumped-Up-No-Migration includes zero visitors allowed from those countries.
