The Next President of the United States: IV

And you think this is because they’re black? Or do you think maybe there are like 50 other factors to consider?
Who knows. What I do know is blacks mostly work lower middle class jobs and I wouldn’t want to drop hundreds of thousands of people into the country to compete for positions they’re already struggling to get

Number of Hispanics on Medicaid decreased from 2011 to 2012 (27.9 to 26.9) and they are less likely to stay on welfare long term than black or Pacific Islanders:
cut immigration from these populations as well.

now let’s force employers to hire more blacks by turning off immigration faucet of people pouring in.

Like I’ve said multiple times now. There are numerous factors the least of which is the color of a person’s skin / their country of origin.
That’s wonderful and all but instead of trying to disentangle numerous factors as to why X race of people can’t get their shit together, why not just not invite them and avoid the issue altogether?

Their source is from here Survey of Income and Program Participation

Oh Yeah? How’s that been working out?

Did you see the link I posted a while back of how BILLIONS are spent on limited english students?

Great in terms of being a master of rhetoric. Anyone who has sought out the facts has already decided which candidate they will support a long time ago.

“mostly”

Do I dare ask for support of this?

Why not? Competition is an extremely important part of capitalism. Why not competition over jobs?

Does nothing to address the real underlying issue(s). It’s a band-aid approach.

Lets “force” business’ to hire blacks? Okay… Which party are you supporting again?

Because that’s how children “solve” problems. I put solve in quotes because it doesn’t actual solve anything.

I have no idea. I don’t spend every waking hour reading about how awful Brown people are.

I did not.

I think we can pack this thread up and move on now. It’s reached its reductio.

We used to call these people snake oil salesmen and they generally were not respected.

So actually ‘SMH’ as opposed to keyboard slam?

He isn’t a master of rhetoric either, Einstein. All he did was set himself up to get grilled on the lie at the first debate.

Purty much, at this point.

Btw I didn’t respond to your earlier post only because I think we agree and there wasn’t much more to say. I too consider the DB a lesser joint (though they have a few good people [see Maajid Nawaz <sp?> on Radical Islam], and that particular description of RT as a literal agitprop outfit was accurate).

More generally, you and I got into it hard like a month ago. I realize now that you are a “serious” poster (by that I mean not a lying muppet) – a lot of alt-right MRA trash and dishonest losers seem to be blowing by in the breeze, and I lost track of who’s who. Anyway, we cool from my end, and I respect your posts.

Congress will never go for it, for they would have to vote to pass amnesty. There is a difference between passing a law and enforcing it. There are a number of immigration ideas that Trump has suggested that are already laws passed on the books.

Yes it is why the fence was not completed. When they built a fence in San Diego, illegal immigration was reduced by some 95%, which is why it moved east to Arizona.

“Following the first great wave of illegal immigration post 1986 amnesty, which primarily came through the California-Mexico border, Congress passed a bill in 1996 to require construction of a double-layered fence (triple-layer in some places) in the San Diego corridor along the coast. You can see a picture of the fence with razor wire here. By the end of the decade, apprehensions fell by 95% as illegals moved eastward, even though the fence covered only 14 miles of the 60-mile sector. The majority of this border sector, unlike most other areas of the border, also has a tall and solid single-layer fence. While nothing is full-proof, fences clearly work and take much of the pressure of the border patrol to keep up with the flow.”

Dude you are ultra quick to reply.

This is reflected in the average black family income and average amount of wealth.

Because there’s already a ton of people unemployed especially blacks. Also surplus low skilled labour just guts wages

Don’t have to address the issue if they’re not in the country

I do not mean literally or by law. I mean if the only labour available to them are people currently unemployed in the country (many blacks) as no new labour in the country, they’ll have to hire more blacks to keep their businesses going.

You have no answer

This was an enormous mistake. Years of stupid clowning on Trump’s part, and he was mostly getting a pass on it – so he gives the criticism a yooge dose of life. Just like the futile attack on the Khans: this is the news cycle now, pushed along its way by Trump himself. It’s been negative Clinton for DAYS, and now it’s Trump is a lying dunce and he’s pretty racist, too.

I don’t buy polls but we will find out on election day.

Apologizing and acting like a scolded child doesn’t necessarily win votes especially not men

Oh cmon now, don’t underestimate how “Mr. Trump did a great service to the President and the by bringing closure to the issue” of birtherism.

This isn’t diversity TB, real diversity would mean people could express their opinion and not be crucified for it.

He wouldn’t get shit done in Congress, but he could build what was passed in 2006. The very same plan that Senators Obama and Hillary Clinton voted for. The 700 miles of fencing that was never built. It’s not a wall by any means, but I would think he would at least get a decent nod for trying to do something about the issue.

He could, at the same time, try to pass the Dream Act to let the kids who were brought here at a young age stay. If he gave both sides each a little of what they both want, America might not be so “draconian.”

Perhaps.
He’d lose his base.

Trump brought closure to the issue in 2011, except he kept tweeting about it after that date:

Let’s take a closer look at that birth certificate. @BarackObama was described in 2003 as being “born in Kenya.” http://bit.ly/Klc9Uu

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 18, 2012

An ‘extremely credible source’ has called my office and told me that @BarackObama’s birth certificate is a fraud.

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 6, 2012

Why do the Republicans keep apologizing on the so called “birther” issue? No more apologies–take the offensive!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 27, 2012

Wake Up America! See article: “Israeli Science: Obama Birth Certificate is a Fake” http://bit.ly/UIfG7B

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 13, 2012

How amazing, the State Health Director who verified copies of Obama’s “birth certificate” died in plane crash today. All others lived

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 12, 2013

Attention all hackers: You are hacking everything else so please hack Obama’s college records (destroyed?) and check “place of birth”

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 6, 2014

The dishonesty is laughable, except this is a presidential candidate.

If there was some kind of wall/fence built, people would be much more open-minded about something like the Dream Act.

This is of course nonsense. I’ve offered numerous solutions over the months. Conversely, nothing you’ve offered and almost nothing Donald has offered is a solution to the actual problems we face. It’s just rhetoric you and the rest of Donald’s base eat up.

Keep dreaming, though. Maybe you’ll get your wish. At any rate, I’m finished with this back and forth at least for today.

The problem with this approach is, it’s trying to prove something already suggested (that he is crazy, racist, hateful, etc). It hasn’t worked as of yet. People have been calling Trump every name in the book, along with ample evidence to support it, I just don’t know if it has an effect anymore.

It also doesn’t help Hillary’s issues of health and dishonesty.
