The best solution is the one promise they are not fulfilling. In the Reagan amnesty, there was a promise to secure the border, didn’t happen. In 2006, the Secure Fence Act was passed, it wasn’t built. They will never secure that border, you could offer full citizenship to all illegals here in exchange for a secure border, they wouldn’t go for it. Business donors want cheap labor coming through all day every day.

Trump held a news conference but before addressing the birther issue brought out multiple medal of honor winners and other military leaders who all endorsed him. Then at the very end said something on the order of Hillary Clinton started the birther movement back in 2008, I ended it Obama was born in the US."
It was just about that short of a response. Handled masterfully.

No, he isn’t. That statement is as dishonest as anything Clinton, Inc. would put out. Trump wasn’t some disinterested arbiter who put the “ugly” issue to rest by stepping in and mediating between the camps to get Obama to release the document - Trump was pushing the claim as much as anyone was and his Twitter feed proves it. Meaning, he was part of making it “ugly” and the statements are there for anyone to read.
Their Kool-aid is top notch that’s for sure.
