The Next President of the United States: III

Not nearly as dangerous as a well known corrupt liar who has lusted after power for the past 25 years. And when she gets it truly does not know what she is doing. Benghazi is a really good example of that. She isn’t just a bad candidate (cue her barking as a dog) she’s a really bad person. Trump is just a bad candidate.

Trump was asked who he consults on foreign policy, and the answer was himself, because he’s all he needs: “I’m speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain, and I’ve said a lot of things.”

Your anger is misplaced. This should not be about why Trump is doing well, but more about why the other candidates aren’t.

Why is Trump the only one tapping into this electorate, and the others still clueless while preaching the same bullshit platitudes ? Anyone one of these clowns with half a brain, would find a way to tap into what Trump is saying without the vulgarity and abrasiveness.

Rubio talked about building the Republican Party, when he average Joe is thinking, how the fuck does that help me pay my mortgage ! You have Jeb, so utterly clueless to not consider the anger lingering from his brother, then trots out his mom and dad to help him as he struggles. Kasich is humble and thoughtful, but he is so quiet, you hardly know he is in the room. Closed mouths don’t get fed.

Trump is like the girl who surrounds herself with fat friends to make himself look skinny, he is surrounded by fools (with the exception of Cruz).

The reason other Republican candidates can’t tap into the sentiment as Trump is because what they are selling is standard issue Republicanism and this group of voters have no interest in it.

There is practically nothing “Republican” about what we can tell about Trump’s policy ideas - Trump isn’t espousing “constitutional conservatism” and the usual supply-side economics, he’s selling angry populism but happily using the government to reward the angry people. These people are not, across the board, anti-government right-wing types.

What is Cruz going to give them, outside of pandering nativism? Unless Cruz goes full RINO on policies, he’s got nothing to offer these voters.

It is a great mistake - and great miscalculation, if you’re a Republican - to think Trump’s voters are a bunch of Tea Party “constitutionalists”.

I wouldn’t call it resentment, as he hasn’t really done anything that would create resentment- yet.

He’s disruptive to the status quo of the party, and the people who were really comfy are getting shaken up from their cozy positions. I doubt anybody with any real confidence in their abilities and accomplishments would get so upset over someone whom, for all intents and purposes, should not be a real threat.

And when Hillary was asked by congress about how she botched Lybia and tried to cover it she said “Why does it even matter?”. And her sleaze ball husband stood there on national television, looked straight into the camera and told the most televised and truly bold faced lie to the world in the history of television, later to be proven a lie by DNA evidence.

And Bis wants to put those two back into the white house? Epic fucking dunce!

Jon Stewart Tears Apart Obama: You Can’t Keep Saying You Found Out About News At The Same Time As Us!

There is one nugget of gold to enjoy if Hillary wins, she must sit at the same desk where Monica blew her husband.

Resentment is exactly what it is, just because he hasn’t held office doesn’t mean there isn’t reason for resentment. He’s done plenty of damage through the campaign he’s run and the rhetoric he’s used.

Wow…how incredibly stupid!

Spot on Sky.

(I have to have more characters)

So Push and Sky,

Do you condone or condemn the use of torture, which is a gross violation of American law and values?

Do you condone or condemn the targeting of non-combatants, which is a gross violation of American law and values?

Do you condone or condemn a candidate for the highest office in the land vowing to order torture and the targeting of non combatants?

A yes or no would suffice. No need for red herrings.

I’ve tried and tried to have these issues tackled head on.

The best I’ve got is that Trump doesn’t really mean (like apparently most of the issues he’s switched around on) it. Indeed, he’s simply doing it to attract as certain sub-set. And we wouldn’t want to foil his brilliant move to expand the tent, I guess. Really, though? First of all, what sleezeball panders to such people? And, do you really want to cement the image of the GoP’s tent as one which keeps supporters of torture and war crimes under its roof? This is to be an explicitly embraced part of the Republican base? And you think this coalition won’t fracture? Every decent and civilized person will distance themself from the party!

Trump’s nomination is Hillary’s victory and the beginning of the GoP’s diminshment into fringe status. Better take the Justice Obama is offering. Hillary won’t offer any better.

How so? Calling out media sources and personalities on their hipocrasy? I actually agree in large part with what they’re doing, the only member on the list that I would say can get somewhat of a pass is Orielly, he actually has been critical to a degree of Trump but I still think he’s given him more of a pass than any one else has gotten.

It’s not surprising the someone who is unable or unwilling to learn the rudimentary basics of a subject before abrasively sounding off would support an odious cretin in Trump, who operates in an identical manner. I have posted ad nauseum about Bengazi in PWI, but I can hold your hand one more time if you’d like for the entertainment of the nescient, histrionic response I’ll receive from partisan pawns around these parts.

My thoughts exactly. The GOP created the Frankenstein monster that is Trump, and now he is strong enough to destroy the party. Those that created the environment that gave rise to Trump and those who do not actively condemn him and as responsible as the fools and soulless opportunists who support Trump.

You don’t think Obama and Democrats didn’t help create Trump ? Both parties voted for the failed Iraq War, both parties allow reckless immigration policies that have killed millions of jobs and kept wages low, and both parties let the banks run wild during the housing boom.

And you still wonder why Trump resonates with people ?

What’s the saying? Garbage in, garbage out?

Because his supporters are certifiable idiots in the realm of government, policy, and world affairs, just like their candidate.

The same could be said about the supporters of the previous administrations who actually created the mess. Look how badly the so-called experts who supposedly knew everything did, for both sides.

Trump tells his supporters to punch back if they get assaulted, and you find those words worse than previous administrations who caused the death of thousands of people and added trillions in debt. Nice one.

I am not a fan of Trump, I am a fan of him bringing these issues to the forefront. California has 172 delegates, and I will not help Trump get them. My vote will be for someone else.
