Not sure why you white knights are acting like the majority of illegal immigrants are actually very intelligent, educated, productive in ways that society rewards monetarily. The people that come here are illiterate, own little possessions, have no skills other than willingness to trade manual labor for cash, and by the fact they risk even their lives to come here - were not successful in their homeland either.The truth is you live where there aren’t millions of them pouring in - like here in Texas.
You are either uneducated to what is happening to society here or you are just picking a debate position because this is a fun place to be on the debate team. But the truth is that Texas has increased from 6.5MM Hispanics to 11MM in 15 years. However the school systems here are counting many more Hispanic children than the census (which in theory counts ‘undocumented’ immigrants) list as K-12 ages. My own school district has gone from 150 Hispanics to 7600 in 38 years while staying static in size other than adding K into the totals.
I could add other things that are anecdotal like whole sections of town advertising strictly in Spanish, or the non licensed building trades, manual labor, and service industries being virtually only Hispanic. Living here for decades and unable understand English. Or perhaps the use of the hospitals as a free medical center according to acquaintances working in that industry. You get the picture.
That is why people are screaming to build a wall - either in reality or figuratively.
No one, to my knowledge, has said that there isn’t a problem that needs to be fixed. I think 99.99% of the posters here acknowledge illegal immigration is a problem that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.
We are discussing the ramifications of policies designed to address the problem. It has nothing to do with being a “white knight” what ever the fuck that even means.
I don’t believe anybody here said that. Even those who support illegals being allowed to stay in the U.S…do so from a strictly financial standpoint. i.e they pay taxes (which I personally disagree with) or it would cost too much to get them out (which I happen to agree with).
I don’t think anybody is saying we are getting the cream of the crop coming here illegally from their nations of origin…

Some of the posters here continually defend illegal immigrants being here because they do shit work Americans won’t do, there are too many already here so how can we afford to send them back, boo hoo you hate other people, actually they pay taxes, ss they won’t collect, don’t really use social services, my ancestors kicked ass on the native population here so it is what we deserve etc.
Guess what? Until Trump brought the issue to the forefront, there really wasn’t any imitative by the ruling classes to do anything about excess, illegal, or common sense immigration. Dems want voters and Reps want cheap labor. If I am wrong - please show me the legislation and enforcement, so I may learn.
