X has his own forum at last! I posted the previous before noticing he had his own forum. Cool!
The only problem is: how many ways can you say to eat a lot and lift heavy? How many ways can you say to wander into the gym and say to lift whatever feels right that day?

Should be fun reading.

That IS a lot! But, and forgive me if I’m wrong, don’t you use a lot of machines, like the Hammers? Wouldn’t that cut down on the lifting options?
I’m looking forward to the good stuff I’m sure will be in your forum, Prof!

It’s not MY forum. I don’t even want it to be MY forum. As soon as they allow us to, quite a number of people will be allowed in. I like debate. Having a bunch of people who think exactly alike is boring.
I just want the jackasses who discuss “combat pyramids” while degrading big muscles to be kept out.

That had to be the straw that broke the camels back, “combat pyramids” and yeah I’m waiting for that right too…there are many members who’s opinions I like reading, even when I disagree.

I keep seeing this combat pyramid term. Where did it start?

I can’t even remember the thread but this guy mentioned it and he and X had a good three four pages about it…X probably can point you to that thread.

I missed that discussion. No wonder you guys get so pissed.
This site needs a place for guys that want to mountain bike or do 1000 push ups. They may be valid goals but they are not bodybuilding.[/quote]
The thing is, most of this shit seemed to all pile up over the last few weeks. With some of the authors here degrading bodybuilding as well, they might as well have done away with the forums all together if they weren’t going to do anything about it.
Some seem to go out of their way to degrade what some of us are passionate about yet throw hissy fits if they get attacked in return.
I think T-Alpha may be a good step in the right direction, but if we don’t get any further support, it won’t work. I would rather nearly every poster get allowed in and then we kick them off at the first sight of “combat pyramid-itis”.

Glad the bodybuilders included in the T-Cell Alpha have what they asked for. Training Logs now have a separate place. Unfortunately, we in the Over 35 Lifter Forum posted a lot of logs. We enjoyed those logs. During Golden Girls and Matlock commericals they were fun to read. We actually incorporated them into our post along with our discussions about the best laxatives and support socks. They’re now being forcibily moved to the training logs.
It’s really hard for us to stay focused so jumping between forums makes us forget what were doing. So help a grandfather out here. The mods actually talk to you guys. Ask them to leave our logs where they are. We promise to use our Social Security checks to buy more stuff. Think of it like helping the old lady across the street. Before she tazzes you, that is.
