Flew home yesterday. Should first mention that after getting home (travel took 12 hours, and I’m physically unable to eat before or during flights), having not eaten anything all day, I downed like 4k cals of cookies and muffins.
I’m thinking though: I’m going to be home for three weeks. I typically keep a high fat/high protein/no carb diet, but I’ve never really experimented with med-high carb/med-high pro/low fat before. I’m thinking of treating this three week period as an experiment where I just eat whatever and see what happens–probably med carb, med pro, lowish fat. It’ll help that I don’t have access to whey here. I’ve never really tried a ‘normal diet’ for an extended period like 3 weeks since I started lifting.
Any of you guys done this over a holiday? What ended up happening?
Intermediate fast started 6pm Saturday and was killed by 6 eggs-6 slices double thick bacon, 2 cups cottage cheese, a tomato and an avacado at 1pm sunday THEN killed half an XL 'all on" pizza at 5pm and the day ended with leftovers at 9pm/ the result was a new Bench PR at 7am this morn !

IF with a weekly/biweekly binge works so well for PR setting.
last night after the gym I came back and was hungry and lazy. so i tossed in a stouffers family size meatloaf~2lbs and some mac and cheese~2lbs as well as some parmesan mashed potatoes. then later in the night i ate a large bag of rold gold chocolate covered pretzels and a bag of sour rips.
thank god for gears nutrient repartitioning abilities. I ate both stouffers in about an hour then i had to shit n then i killed the potatoes. It was glorious.
Had a large pizza from papa murphys followed by 8oz bowl of oatmeal with whey and PB. Crushed 8 homemade cookies. 2 finibars microwaved. 1lb of meat, 3 pieces of toast made into a sandwhich with jelly and pb on each slice (triple decker) topped off with a lb of cotage cheese.
Tonight will be similar without the pizza so less of cheat but just gonna be 1lb of rice the rest will be pretty similar.

I guess it doesn’t really count but last night I had a 116g whey shake with some gatorade… LOL, not really as epic as some of these but I was hungry and my protein intake was lacking.
Nothing crazy today, but I tried this high-quality organic butter made from milk from grass-fed cows for the first time. Holy crap, what a difference. Thicker, more colorful and full of flavor.
I don’t think I could ever go back to crappy normal butter ever.
