OK, the only reason I took the time to consult this forum is because nobody ever sugar coats anything or tells you what you want to hear. I have to point out the fact that the only people who have told me that hitting this guy was wrong are my mentally ill ex gf and a few people on this forum. I have to question the motives of those who sympathize with a molester in her case, or who say that it was morally wrong to punish him myself. Some people take the position that violence is never the answer. I am not one of these people. If this isn’t an instance where violence is warranted, I don’t know what is. If you’re the kind of man that would rather handle this by telling a judge what happened so he could get a fine and probation, I probably wouldn’t want to associate with you. Where I come from, you don’t let people get away with shit like this and if you do you have no heart and no balls. While technically, by the book, Scrub should have dialed 911, this rapist had what was coming to him. I can’t say I would have behaved any different. In this case, the victim (Scrub), was able to take revenge on his attacker. Most sexual assault cases are man-on-woman, and the prospect for physical retribution is small. Think about if this were your sister getting molested by some guy at a party who had picked a lock to get into the room with her. Would you not have tried to end this guy’s fucking life if you had been there? I think most here would.

Honestly I think the people that profess the “leave it to the courts” philosophy are saying that due to fantasy ideas of how courts would handle this.
Look at it this way. Unless the guy plea bargained out of it, (which most likely would mean a very small penalty), these types of cases are hard as hell to prove. And that is when they are male vs female, which is a big no no in society. ANYTHING happening to a guy without signs of obvious punishment (like beatings, being tied down…) is considered pretty minimal.
There is NO WAY you are going to find a jury of your peers to convict a gal in molesting a guy of legal age. No way. So get that “ideal” world out of your minds, it’s a one way street when it comes to legal punishment for sex crimes.
So now you are left with the guy vs guy deal. Good luck proving it, and good luck finding a jury to convict. Ain’t gonna happen. Not without obvious signs of force.
And we aren’t even going into the whole mess of getting your name publicly tied to this whole thing, and the shitstorm that would be.
So yes, the way the doctor handled it is fine. If he was a gal, then the option of going to the courts would have been there, but it’s not there for guys. I seriously doubt you could even find a DA willing to take the case, and actually getting a conviction would be as likely as winning the lottery.

In reality it doesn’t really matter what other people think and unlike some of the others here I would not advise seeing a shrink or anybody else for that matter. When you start walking down that path my friend the road will truly get dark for you. Trust your feelings. there is no absolute right answer, only whats right for you, Take some time by yourself, I suggest out in the wild somewhere, spend some time with number 1 and learn to rely on yourself. You have all the answers for You. Don’t get trapped into letting others tell you whats good for you or bad for you. and this is for everyone else… You can strengthen your body by training it, You can strengthen your mind by training it, Then obviously you can strengthen your spirit by training it.
