The Milk Challenge, one gallon, one hour, mucho dinero is at stake!

Maybe some fibre supplements will help clear the milk out the end you desire, not the end it went in. Does explosive dihorea(sp?) count as a loss?

Oh MAN!!! This is hilarious… I did it this summer (over a $20 bet). I had two strikes against me… 1) I had a huge bowl of ice-cream before hand. 2) I was all crunched up in the back of a car for the hour while I was drinking. I got it down to 1 glass-full left at 58 minutes down (but my challenge was: finish it in 60 minutes or less AND hold it down for 30 minutes after finishing).

For those last 2 minutes I was thinking “Why the hell did I get a second serving of icecream”

Good luck buddy

Dude, I have done this before and let me tell you, this is really freaking hard to do. But, the best technique I have found is to take a shot glass and every 30-45 seconds take a shot this will gradually get the milk into your digestive system. You’ll be digesting small bits of milk as opposed to chugs at a time thereby, keeping surface area at a higher ratio and faster milk consumtion. I have won with this technique time and time again. I would also suggest eating nothing but breakfast and doing massive amount of cardio ending 1-2 hrs. before the contest. If you drink it they will come. ~Trance~

The stomach is causing the milk to precipatate out into “curds and whey”, the chunks are casein, fat and the liquid is the whey and water. This is how they make cheese,(by adding an acid and seperating the curds from the whey), therefore, I don’t believe that the curdling of the milk in the stomach is the problem. The logic behind the pH change is a good start, the thought of adding an acidic component within the hour is probably a smart move. As a side note on a bet, I drank 2 quarts of whole milk and three Blue Thunders in 15 min…

  1. Lactaid, at least 5-10 tabs

  2. That morning, Pepcid or Tagamet or Zantac.

  3. 1 hour before, no Calcium tummy med,
prefer an aluminum or magnesium based on.

  4. Smoke a joint 10 minutes before,…whoops! Did I say that? – brock

this is an old gag in climbing circles. i have heard stories from way back about guys doing this in yosemite valley on their days off from climbing. from all of the “victors” that i have talked to the trick is to keep your stomach as empty as possible, as the milk will take up alot of room in your gut. pace yourself out, it works out to an 8 oz glass something like every eight minutes. also get ready for gas. i did this, unintentionally, when i was sixteen, i sat down to dinner and just kept drinking. after words the gas was horrible. that was more of a problem than the nausea. good luck, and if you cut loose aim at the other guy, all fair in the milk challenge.

What Trance said about doing cardio seemed to make sense. The milk would be his post workout meal and would probably digest faster…maybe.

Damn I use to drink 3 gallons a day on my free days, I never thought it could win me any money! Anybody in Spartanburg up to a $100 challange?

Excellent replies…I will follow brocks advice and also drink some tobasco sauce along with the milk. will keep stomache empty also. Thanks guys, I will post when I have won the $$$$$.

I did this for $50. Somebody was talking about how it’s impossible yo drink a gallon of milk in a day and I said bullshit. It wasn’t too hard seeing as I’d normally down a gallon in 2-3 hours a day.

By the way, if you drink gallons of milk regularly, stop. It’s horrible stuff.

Why did YOU BUUUUUMP!?

Why is everyone bumping up these old ass threads?

Good luck man… I can drink maybe 1/4 of a gallon of milk at best ahah!
