Hey all, im considering doing a PH cycle, as part of my bulking phase. But due to my age im not sure, however i have been wanting to this for some time. i was thinking about doing M1A or somthing along those lines. in been lifting for 3+ years. here are my stats-
18 years old
240lbs
6’1
Diet and Training are in check
Supplementation is in check
here some sample training to give you an idea-(done for reps)
BB curl-100
Chest Press-250
Deadlift-320(needs work)
Skull Crushers-95
Standing Millitary Press-160

You’d be short changing yourself.
240 is pretty damn large for an 18 year old. However, looking at your #'s that’s not all muscle. I’m not being an asshole just pointing out what you gave me. Aside from you not being able to train hard and eat right yet, you’re physically to young to start AAS or PH’s (wich are generally just shitty aas that never made it pass the chopping block in alot of cases). You could DEFINITELY get down to like 200-220 and look real solid at your height and age. NO AAS needed.
Plus by the time you learn how to eat and train to build muscle and gain the knowledge that comes from time and effort it takes to do that you’ll be old enough to make the decision for yourself and not fuck up your body and cheat yourself out of learning to do things the right way.
BTW, I started using AAS when I was 23 and didnt’ know jack about nutrition or training compared to what I do now.
yea i know i got some fat on me lol, but the nubers i posted arent maxes, however i do realize there is room for improvement. i just basically wanted somthing to finish my bulking cycle off with a bang. Thanks for the help
Actually you’ve got a lot of room for improvement without PH. My 16 year old weighs 170 and benches 245 for 5 sets of 5. Try the BCAA and Beta-7 they make a huge difference.
One of the biggest benefits from steroids is that they allow you to train harder and recover quicker, both the BCAA and Beta-7 do that also, and they are healthy, and compared to the supplements that were around when I was 18 they perform almost as good as steroids or PH’s.
The supplement industry has come a long way over the last 20 years, take advantage of that before taking the leap into Steroids and PH’s. You might as well call prohormones steroids.

but thats not what i was getting at, i more or less wanted to know would it be very BAD to run a short PH cycle, and also, to set the record strait i dont bench 250, i bench over 300, 250 is a pre-fatugued(sp) training weight. but damn your son sound like a monster in the making lol, cheers to him.

Yes, it would be a really, really bad idea to run a PH cycle at your age and in the situation you have described.
