The 'Knockout Game' Gaining Popularity

Of course, you could make the case that anyone who commits a violent crime, by definition, does not “feel it.”

But I took your post to be more about not knowing right from wrong. And this is almost always not the case, at least in the United States.

Also the woman in the first video was a 16 year old girl who knocked her teeth out when she hit the ground.

I feel like a want a doughnut, even though I know it will make me fat and weak.

Let’s face it, in this country the concepts of respect, manners, compassion and empathy, all of the things that are part of what we call civility, are not emphasized or enforced. We are spoiled and self-centered. I live in CT. On the news the other day there was a report about a video game that was uploaded to a host website. The game was called the Slaying of Sandy Hook Elementary. Yes, you got to reenact the killing spree. WTF?

I get that we have the right to make a game like that. I like a nation that allows that but, that doesn’t mean you make it. What kind of person thinks they should make a game like that? What is he thinking? How does he think? And who would even want to play that game? Is everything off limits now? People are fighting to have pictures of the murdered kids released. Why? If we, as a nation, can’t respect the families of murdered kids. If we can’t respect the kids themselves. What does that say about where we are and where we are going? I think some people want a world that looks like South Park or some reality show.
The same nut bags that don’t believe 9/11 or the holocaust happened are fighting for the release of those pictures and when they obviously (hopefully) say no, they will take it as further proof of there crazy conspiracy theories. They actually don’t want them released.

Okay, over on another thread (Idaho woman attacked by wolf) the point was made by Pushharder that the wolves in his neck of the woods would not only kill lambs and calves for food, but would sometimes maul the animals just for the evil joy of doing it. Perhaps “evil” and “joy” are overstatements when applied to wild canid predators, but I think it fits.

And the solution seemed to be, judging from the consensus among members on that thread who actually share habitat with the wild wolves, to reduce their numbers using high-powered rifles.

And now here we have a group of supposedly human urban predators, who attack, like the wolves, without warning, defenseless prey, not for any benefit other than the sheer evil joy of the act.

I propose the solution is not so very different from that practiced in Montana and Idaho.
Agreed.
Make the game, let consumers put you out of business for being a fucking moron.
The fact we would even be talking about this says something about the growing lack of morality in our country.

Then they would be by definition insane. They are amoral.

There has and always will be a portion of any populace that lacks basic morality. It’s nothing new.

I’m not sure the knockout game is real. Yes, I’m sure it happens occasionally, but there have been dozens of stories in my lifetime about some new, terrible thing kids were doing that ALWAYS turned out false. For example:

  1. Colored wrist bands that showed what level of sex kids would do
  2. Kids doing booze enemas to get drunk undetected
    2a) Butt Chugging
    2b) Booze tampons
  3. Rainbow parties
  4. Jenkem

They all have two things in common: They were all reported widely on the news as being true and they were all false. Now that there is news of the knockout game, some kids may do it so there my be an increase of events, but overall, I wouldn’t get all worried about it.

The difference is that this wasn’t getting reported until recently.

Well, you were the one who claimed that these kids don’t know right from wrong. My point is that this is not generally the case in this country.

Leave all of the who why and what ever else to the attorneys and media.

They don’t know right from wrong, at least not in the sense you mean it. That’s part of the reason why people become victims. They think that everyone else thinks the way they do. These “kids” don’t reason anywhere near the way most people do. Their value system might as well come from Mars.
Perfect! Then they won’t think that it is wrong to be shot when they do it. They will simply incorporate into their values that when you sucker punch someone another person shoots you.

And there will be a woman on TV crying hysterically about her 16 year old son who was a good kid, and great father. She will have his baby pictures to prove it.

There is not a soul on this planet that would stop me from hunting down and taking away those who did this to a defenseless female if she were related to me. We would end up in the middle of nowhere deep in the backwoods of MS with no one to hear them scream for hours of fun.

See how fun their game is when I am pulling out their fingernails and toenails with pliers. There is just some shit you NEVER do and one of them is hitting a female, especially a completely unaware defenseless one.

I saw a video where she was interviewed but I cant find it. That incident with her actually occurred in England and the second tape of the guy running away looks more like a full grown man than a teen. But you are right. It would be beneficial to the populous as a whole if some of theses guys that think this is fun would get their heads stomped or their heads split open with a bullet.

Man that is just cowardly and sickening. Too bad someone wasn’t close to completely cave his skull in.

I’m willing to accept that.

What I’m not willing to accept is people getting seriously injured or killed, and the person doing it walking away with the sense of impunity which allows that to happen in the first place.

We should probably do a “you go your way and I’ll go mine” on this one.
