This is an outright lie and they know it. Mainstream Sunni and Shia Islam teach that “jihad” constitutes both an inner struggle(greater holy war) and external struggle(lesser holy war). It’s one of the most well known aspects of Islam. It’s based upon an anecdote of Mohammad meeting a fighter on the way home from his (lesser) holy war and Mohammad reminds him of the “greater holy war” he must continue to wage within himself. Islamic scholars have expanded upon this dual concept of jihad and it is always taught and understood in this dual sense. There is no “inner” holy war without the “outer” holy war, which gives life to the metaphysical, inner struggle.

I’m not even a fan of dude, but bet your sweet ass I’d do everything in my power to make sure he retires former POTUS and not at the end of any of their knifes.
Not that they have any chance in hell of doing any significant damage in America, but as long as we’re talking hyperbole.

I would love to have IS’s ass kicked by a bunch of women, and them know it.
Actually, I think the U.S. should be bootlegging porn and liquor in the ME.

Apparently the White House has banned calling the Taliban a terrorist organization, so that they can negotiate with them.
It’s a simple solution. They can maintain they don’t negotiate with terrorists by calling terrorist groups they negotiate with, an ‘Armed Resistance’. Makes me sick.

I wonder how many posters here have actually read the Koran and the Hadiths?

In actuality, governments have often negotiated with terrorists, so you’re on very shaky ground here.

The actions of the extremists speak louder than their words and they are getting their inspiration from the Koran, why would it be necessary to read it. I only read a few chapters and that was all I needed to confirm it was intolerant of other faiths and religions.
While the Bible speaks of ancient Jews killing Canaanites, the Koran speaks of killing Christians and Jews. The Bible does not call upon Christians to kill the descendants of the Canaanites, yet the same can not be said of the Koran regarding Jews & Christians & other idolaters (Hindus & Buddhists).

Over the last 15 years I’ve familiarised myself with Islamic orthodoxy to the extent that I can confidently speak with some authority on the subject. If you take issue with anything I or anyone else has said then by all means set us straight. Here, I’m asserting that the concept of jihad is always taught and understood as a dual concept of metaphysical inner struggle(greater holy war) and the outer, physical struggle(lesser holy war). Whenever a Muslim says that jihad means “inner struggle” and is not associated with violence they are lying outright.
