The Impeachment Hearings

HAHAHA! No one in the world thinks he would be capable of running the company. The issue is that he was being paid to be on the board not because of any expertise he had, but merely to influence US policy.

I’m not going to defend a Coke-Head who banged his dead-Brother’s Wife…but member’s of Boards RARELY have the expertise of the Company they oversee.

Some do. Many don’t.

Go ahead and list ANY qualifications he had to be on the board. Other than his daddy.

So burisma hired Biden jr in an attempt to protect itself from corruption charges bring pushed by the us govt. Biden Sr then pressures the Ukrainian govt to fire a notoriously corrupt prosecutor for NOT investigating burisma for corruption.

And you think that Biden Sr was somehow corrupt in this? I do not follow your logic.

And what is illegal about that? You do know that most corporations try and influence policy.

I’m NOT going to defend…

He is an attorney and part of a consulting firm. The truth is, you don’t know what qualifications someone would need to be on the board of directors for any corporation. I doubt you even know what a board of directors is.

It’s the same logic that is used in conspiracy theories behind 9/11 and Sandy Hook.

You don’t need to. The fact he even asked that question reveals his total ignorance on the subject.

Actually, most people overlook that the Quid part consisted of two issues - Bidens and CrowdStrike.

Except in Russian conspiracy theories, what is the link between Ukraine and Crowdstrike?

Again, one of the founders was a Russian-born US citizen, not Ukrainian.

This clip is from FOX, so the faithful can be safe in the knowledge that they’re not committing a sleigh against God by watching something from CNN:

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is a cybersecurity technology company based in Sunnyvale, California. It provides endpoint security, threat intelligence, and cyberattack response services.[1] The company has been involved in investigations of several high profile cyberattacks, including the Sony Pictures hack,[2] the 2016 Democratic National Committee email leak, and the Democratic National Committee cyber attacks.

In July 2015, Google invested in the company’s Series C funding round which was followed by Series D [27] and Series E[28] raising a total of $480 million as of May 2019.[29] In June 2018, the company said it was valued at more than $3 billion.[30] Investors include Telstra, March Capital Partners, Rackspace, Accel Partners and Warburg Pincus.[31][32]

Estimated annual revenue in 2017 was $100 million, and the company had a valuation of more than $1 billion.[33] Investors included Telstra, March Capital Partners, Rackspace, Accel Partners and Warburg Pincus.[34][35]

In June 2019, the company made its successful IPO on the NASDAQ, with the stock almost doubling after IPO

He had just been kicked out of the Navy for being a coke-head when Burisma and the consulting firm hired him. The consulting firm hired him for the same reason Burisma did: his daddy. And how does being an attorney qualify him? Do tell.

Yes, that is what the testimony is.

We all agree Hunter was hired for his relationships. Companies hire people who have valuable relationships every day. If you find that outrageous, then get a load of this…

Someone please help me out here. What crime is Hunter or Joe Biden being accused of? I’m honestly at a loss.

How does he not qualify to be on the board? In fact, you said he was there to influence US policy well, that ability alone would qualify him.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. The Trumpkins don’t know either.

Put simply, a lot of people have views that don’t fit neatly into either of the two parties. However, those people don’t necessarily agree with each other on an actual platform. It’s easy to say, “Let’s make an alternative.” It’s hard to define what that alternative is.

Agree!

A prime example was the “Perot Party”. (I forgot what the name was that the couldn’t even settle on). The main (but not only) part of their platform was to be one against wasteful federal spending; debt; trimming down bloated bureaucracy, etc.

Then the “social” aspects of the platform had to be agreed upon…and things started to go down hill fast, especially with those who wanted a “stand” on abortion and those who didn’t even want it to be part of the platform.

Reform Party of the United States of America. (Perot’s Party).

Policy advocated doesn’t need mean policy enacted once elected. Last I checked Obama was going to take all the gunz away and the Dems had the all the powers. Didn’t happen.

Keep in mind our current President pushed the idea he would get health care for all at a cheaper price.

But universal health care only seems to concern the right when Dems advocated for it.

Perhaps they just realized they were voting for someone too stupid to realize what he was saying was impossible?

Based on how Trumpkins and many “conservatives” have responded to this fiasco, I think there’s a fundamental question we have to know the answer to.

What Trump is accused of is using his public position for private gain.

Trumpkins: do you even think this is a problem?

Set aside whether you think he is guilty of that or not for a second - do you even think that using your public position for private gain is a problem? That it’s inappropriate?
