The 'I Can't Sleep' Thread

Fun insomnia story.

Was at Six Flags GA last week, got on Nitro front row. Girl to my left looks at me and smiles, telling me “I’m a screamer, I hope you don’t mind.” I just said “Not a problem, all good.” and we took off. She’s saying all normal shit during the first climb, just like “FUCK FUCK FUCK,” whatever she’s overstimulated. First drop, it suddenly morphs into (screaming, not shouting) “FUCK ME IN THE ASS” over and over again. Must have said it two or three dozen times, just chant-screaming. We got off the ride and my friends still curse me for not getting her number.

I lived in a tropical island with no fan or air conditioning for two years. Orlando is comfortable to me, I barely sweat during the day let alone at night.
I grew up up there (Clermont) don’t fool these northerners they may come down here and have a heat stroke.
I remember some days I would go to work at 5a.m. in my un- airconditioned ride and be dripping sweat before I got to the job. I love it hot.

This past winter we were considering moving to Georgia, but man, I don’t know that I could survive May-November

Dude you would adust in a summer but hey I think I could never adjust to snow, ice, shitty grey skies.

You yankees sound like a bunch pansies.

“Oh noezzz!!, it’s so hot!!”

Would like me to call the Whaamberlamps for you?

I’m in Iraq and I have insomnia.
However if/when I do sleep, I turn up my AC real high and cuddle with myself under my blanket.

Not directed at you at all but you can’t imagine how glad we are that a lot of folks feel this way.
Bwahahaa. Whats a normal day like in Montana? My brother always cracks about how state pop is like under a million.

I have been debating on moving to Savannah area but I don’t even know if I would adjust. I think I would just be dehydrated all the time.

Got central AC where I live. Set it at about 77 or 78. Plus I have a fan going and I usually sleep nekkid.

Still, I probably should be drinking more water than I do. I drink all day long at work, and always drink a lot in the gym, but I tend to forget to drink at all at other times.

Lucky you. Seriously, growing up in the tropics didn’t make me adapt to the heat, it made me hate it even more.
