I weed eat my whole garden today, come in and cooked myself 3/4-1 lb of pre seasoned fajita meat with bell peppers and onions. Made some garlic butter for dipping, along with salsa out of jar. Warmed up some store bought tortillas and devoured that shit.
But! I did use organic oil olive to cook it.

I think this is my first true confession here-I’m finding that raising a very young dog (~10 months old now) is really hard.
I don’t want to imagine how difficult it will be to have children.

Does empathy have to be genuine? I’m pretty sure I have the ability to be empathetic, but I actually don’t care. I’m just doing what I need to do to get my job done. Here’s a perfect example.
Yesterday I had a call about a suspicious person hanging out in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Well, the calling party and his girlfriend have called 911 10 times in five days. The calls are all similar. People hiding in their closet. People trying to break in to the apartment. The girl thought she got bit by a snake (it’s f-ing cold here and we rarely have snakes in the city). On one of the alleged break-in attempts an officer could see their front door as they were calling it in. They’re hallucinating! Meth has a way of doing that to you.
Well, the guy called yesterday and came out to talk to me as I arrived. He said he had video this time. I’m like, great, let’s see it. He spends the next five minutes dicking with his phone and never produces a video. He goes to a web browser page that says “You’re Offline” in big white letters and below it is a link that says “See Details”. He uses a magnifier feature to show me “the hidden messages” people are sending him. He highlights the “tails” part of details and then the “you” part of You’re and is saying “See. It says tells you.” I’m about to lose my mind looking at this crap. My partner is about to lose his patience and starts to be a dick.
The guy says it’s frustrating because the police always think he’s crazy (ya think?). I finally tell him that we need concrete stuff to do anything for him. Even if he could prove that this particular person is sitting in the parking lot, it’s not illegal unless he has a protection order. I politely tell him to get a court order and make sure he has his video ready to go next time he calls. I finish with “Get your self organized so we can help you.” He appreciates that and understands he didn’t produce his evidentiary video.
I walk away thinking this guy is coo coo for cocoa puffs but instead of telling him to piss off and stop calling 911 I pretended to believe him. But if they keep calling then I’m going to management to get them evicted!

Yes, or you have to be really really good at faking it. The clients I work with have all experienced some extreme trauma in their lives at a young age and are hyper sensitive when it come to body language, facial cues, etc. So they are very good at telling if you are lying or being genuine and will call you out/cause issues.

She’s energetic and very people friendly. A part of the difficulty right now is that she misses my parents, who’ve gone on a trip. I think that’s part of the reason why she’s so hyper right now- her normal humans aren’t around and that bothers her.
Having seen the ordeal my parents had to go through to raise me and my brother, I fully agree =D
