I just recently brought a campervan with a nice little kitchen in the back. It’s only a matter of time before I’m cooking steaks outside my work whilst getting a beer out the fridge.

The prefix “Ir” in Irrespective, applies a negative to the word “respective” in the same way as the prefix “In” in “Invisible” applies a negative to the word “visible”.
Irregardless is an abomination word, where the negative “Ir” is applied to regard, which has already had the negative suffix “less” applied to it. So, it basically means “not regardless”, or…regarding.
