The Flame-Free Confession Thread II

I confess every time I see one of those posts, I see a wind up toy with 4 flailing arms (think stereotypical “Italian speak”), possibly 2 flailing legs if the toy flies, a spinning beanie top, and a metallic AI (ok, not that “I”) voice talking a mile a minute.

I am dyslexic so read this as something completely different

That also explains your brief stint of Mormonism.

It also explains why for years I was confused as to why so many people didn’t believe in God when you see them walking around on leads in parks like everywhere !!

After that awesome pic he sent @EmilyQ. No way.

I’m referring to his avatar.

No, I know what you meant, I just mean, I always ignored the avatar, it just seemed like he thought he was being clever or quirky or whatever by using it, and from day 1, everything he has said and done has painted that picture I posted to me. I thought of it the first time I talked to him.

I confess I crop-dusted the group of guys at my gym who decided to hog all 4 bench stations and 2 more hogging free benches for 40 minutes tonight in my crowded ass gym. Also, I’m a raging natty bitch today. That is all.

4 multivariate analysis classes…

An academic working for 2 hours a day, of which 90% is email? Yes, normal. :stuck_out_tongue:

I always tried to schedule for three days a week (MWTh). Was awesome when Monday holidays hit.

Actually, the chief complaint in that class is ‘not enough practice’

It definitely follows a “ low intensity high frequency” model

Not enough practice would be low frequency, no?

High frequency in terms of class meeting times but each session is quite low volume- I phrased it wrong, it’s more like the Bulgarian method- high frequency, high intensity, low volume

Looking down isn’t the worst thing you could tell someone to do when they squat. You could tell them to look up, and make their health insurance providers hate them.

A small truck, like a f-150 with a 6.5’ bed and 4 doors for my big ass dog.

I just finished my first exam in university.

The course was Logic applied to programming (propositional calculus, first order logic, Hoare logic), I got a score of 29/30.

I can’t say that it’s not a good grade, although I’m disappointed because I thought I could have reached 30. I made a couple of mistakes that ended up screwing me over. Still, I just made my first step towards graduating.

Calculus and C programming exams will be next week. Let’s see if my 3+ hours daily of study will yield the results I’m after.

In STEM fields take 29/30 any day. I am sure you crushed the average with that kind of score.

I had exams in engineering college where the average score was around 50%. If you scored 60% or above you ended up with an A.
