Is that keep it up or stick it up!
Yes .
I don’t know about you, but if anyone puts anything near my arse, you bet my glutes are tightening up.
But to each their own, I guess.
Shhh, he just got bum-fucked by a needle. Go easy on him.
Guess you know a good cue for activation.
oh man, you have not tried gua sha then…
I thought you were gonna say when you did a 50 rep squat set, took a nap, woke up, forgot the workout you had done before, and did a 50 rep squat set, took a nap, woke up, forgot the workout you had done before, and did a 50 rep squat set, took a nap, woke up, forgot the workout you had done before, and were disappointed with your performance
Do you hate yourself?
These are one the most unpleasant things I’ve ever done in the gym. After the last workout of mass made simple, I don’t think I moved from the floor for at least 15mins. I may have napped right there on the floor, no way to tell.
Part of the frustration of being on sheiko is that I can’t try things like this just to see what happens
yeah, i figured ![]()
I’m pretty safe knowing that there is no way, gun to my head, I could do 50 reps with bodyweight on the bar at the minute. That means I don’t have to try.
I think I might be able to, but it’ll probably take the NKVD to make it happen.
I have a “deload” in 2 weeks, I might just try it out ![]()
Its unpleasant. You might manage at 40kg though And if you do, I invite you to attempt my challenge from a few years ago: 365 reps in one set with 40kg weight (I cheated and used a weight vest and 2 kettlebells).
This was when the 365 challenge was a thing every new year, and a poster at the time was trying to persuade everyone that you never needed to squat more than 40kg.
WTF!!! People do this?! Why am I getting flak for my burpees then??
They do it once a year, not every ‘rest’ day
I only do the 500 burpee challenge only once a year too ![]()
The original challenge was 180 reps upper body lift, 180 reps lower body, plus 5 of your choice. Done however you want. For whatever pig headed reason (plus a hand injury), I decided to up the ante a bit.
It should be noted I was using a 16kg weight vest and 2 x 12kg kettlebells so the only stipulation for it to be one set was that the bells couldn’t leave the front rack position.
Ever since 2010 I’ve done a new years eve push up challenge, where I do the number of pushup in the following year (2011 push-ups on New year’s Eve in 2010, 2019 push-ups last new year’s eve).
I confess that I doubt this tradition will last the full decade.
If I remember, I might try that this year.
