I wonder what a Lions training is… Broad jumps, squat jumps, clean and jerks, shadow boxing, sprints… all on a strict carnivore diet
I think theirs is very instinctual.
Wag tail for reps, eat a gazelle, take nap. Fight a hyena, trot around peeing on stuff. That kind of thing.
Let’s not forget that female lions/ lionesses do most of the hunting. So, I’m sure they have higher volume workouts ![]()
What RPE on this one?
Depends on the age and condition of their prostate. Could be a RPE 1, could be a RPE 7.
What if I pee to failure?
Then stop worrying about RPE, that’s measured on RKPE: R. Kelly’s Peeing Efficiency, and to failure is only a 3, the guy is a master.
I’m curious why we missed the obvious RPEE punchline.
We were actually waiting for you
I have a shy bladder: what can I say.
That’s consistent with the literature ![]()
So today I had this older lady stop me at Costco and say “It’s not healthy to be too muscular”. I told her it’s better to have muscle and strong muscles than no muscles at all. There are way more things out there that are much unhealthier than having muscle. And yes she was very out of shape, go figure.
“It’s not healthy to butt into other peoples’ shit, either.”
Had a guy tell me lifting can be unhealthy as he had a Malbro hanging out his mouth.
I have had this conversation before:
Random Person: “Why do you want to be so muscular?”
Me: “Why do you want to be an out of shape slob?”
Usually ends the conversation quickly.
I’ve been told “that extra muscle is bad for your heart” by somebody while smoking one! ![]()
Guess how that played out?
Oh, nothing weird here. Just insecure people that aren’t happy with their life trying to project their negativeness onto others. Bravo for your politeness, I would probably have answered way more offensively had I been in your place. I get ticked off easily by this kind of behavior.
In my native language we have a pretty expressive way of saying “mind your business.”
Fatti i cazzi tuoi. Literally, “(go) take care of your own dicks.”
Do you conjugate with Lions or with sheep?
Am I the only one old enough to get that reference?
If Dan John is to be believed (or my memory of Dan John at any rate), lean muscle mass is one of the best predictors of longevity in the elderly.
Anything that holds still for a minute! Well 40 seconds or so anyways.
I was wondering when conjugate with lions guy would come up. Turns out he was a visionary.
