Was that on separate occasions or just one really difficult session?
one session today
two 1/5 hour sessions yesterday
got through 43- only 120 to go ![]()
Ahhh I miss that feeling when it dawns on you that you’re working for about 2cents per hour…
I realized that in high school I was paid 10€ to write essays (we ran a black market with a friend) and it was most likely better paid and interesting than my current job
I’m getting paid $10/hour for Lowenstein and $12/hr for Downs- Downs gave me a return offer for next semester! Got it 10min ag ![]()
Lucky- I spent a solid month last summer writing parent statements and translating random company documents for my dad- didn’t get paid…
To be fair, it’s not my personal beef. It’s just site policy and it’s pretty much just thread titles. We like to keep things quick and easy to understand, relevant to the thread content, and maintain the appearance of having more than a few functioning brain cells, unlike certain other forums.
Confession: I firmly believe that one of the greatest parts of Thanksgiving is standing in the kitchen late at night and dipping chunks of cold turkey into a jar of mayo.
I have a personal beef with the capitalised thread titles rather than just title case, but I enjoy this forum enough to have overcome it. I am a wonderful person.
Christmas evening is all about leftover turkey sandwiches. And family, I guess.
Hell of a leftover, one month later…
I confess that to me, Thanksgiving is something that happens on TV at some indeterminate date that’s probably sometime near Christmas.
Pretty much how we feel about it too.
Edited out the TV part lol
Mmmmmm: leftover family sandwiches.
It’s not cool to eat grandma/grandpa.
Or, more generally. People. He might be eating another family.
Mashed potatos and turkey gravy on Hawaiian rolls!
pretty sure he meant he eats the family of turkeys so not one is left behind to grieve not knowing how to face one more day alone if they even can
I think that he meant the meaning of ‘family’, was left over turkey sandwiches
Wait, I’m confused, what do you guys do with your leftover families?
