The Flame-Free Confession Thread II

Ya, same here. When you go to a roid forum, there are too many weirdos and then there’s a lot of indepth discussions about other illegal shit and then you start thinking what kind of degenerates am I looking at lol(not Dave P’s site though. Just regular weirdos there).

I just find drugs the least interesting aspect of bodybuilding these days. Like, when you first start taking them it’s this really cool other world you want to get involved in, but now it’s like: bulk on test and another anabolic or two, blast some hardeners when you’re cutting, use orals depending on your goals and tolerances, and try not to die. Who cares?

I never bothered with Dave P’s forum either, although will occasionally check out one of his videos or podcasts depending on who he’s got on.

DRUGS! And dieting! but using the insulin… must be with the GH or you will be bloofy!!!

Dooglies in the bonza matey?

Are Scots and Aussies trying to figure if flatout making up words is harder to understand than speaking like you have no tongue?

They don’t need to be dead. Some old people, particularly older ladies, have skin that can tear like paper.

I don’t quite understand how making a salad in the shower leads to a zucchini in the ass? Is there a step I have been missing in salad prep? Might explain why cucumbers come wrapped in plastic nowadays

My wife’s uncle is the head director and will soon own it. When I moved to VA and was waiting to do background checks and everything for my new job he gave me a ton of hours there so I still help out. It’s not what you think - the people I work with are SUPER chill, and also, we all keep things light. Not in a disrespectful way to the bodies of course, but you have to joke around to keep things from being depressing. It’s a people business - knowing how to treat a widow or someone who’s lost their mother can mean either holding their hand or making them laugh - you have to know which by reading people. Grief affects everyone differently. The only thing that gets me is kids. We had a guy who tried to kill his kids by fuming them out in the garage with exhaust, and when it wasn’t working fast enough he slit their throats. Twin 3 year olds. All over a divorce. The mom walked around the funeral home carrying their bodies in her arms. None of us slept that night, and I finished a bottle of Jamison off myself.

Well you wouldn’t want to get pregnant.

Sick toddlers are so sweet, quiet, and easy that I’m now willing to listen to arguments in favor of Munchausen Syndrome by proxy.

Yeah, absolutely no clue what that meant, but…

Are canisters of compressed nitrous-oxide originally put in cans of foam whipped cream which used to be able to buy at servos. Some guy inhaled so many he OD’d, which is ridiculous considering each nang only gives you a 10s-or-so high

Between using the remainders of my yearly paid vacation days along with the scheduled paid Holidays off and not having to work my normal maintenance shut down this time. I wont be stepping foot back into my work place until Jan 3.

This sounds like the Bill Cosby of weightlifting.

Sometimes I wish I could refrain from replying to most of the threads here when I know damn well the last thing someone who starts said thread is correct advice. They just want confirmation bias.

Yet I still succumb to it every time. It makes no sense. There are so many people on T-Nation that over the years have helped me so much, and I still reach out to them for advise, because they are more experience and accomplished than I am. Why ask something if your main intent is not to listen to the answer?

Its called ego… It always amusing how guys with maybe less than a year under their belts will want to get into some debate with someone whom might have a decade or decades of practical experience more than they do.
