The Flame-Free Confession Thread II

I thought this might happen.

My spirit animal is a jaguar with some serious anxiety problems.

My creatinine is high again- only .08 over “normal”, but I’m kinda freaked out.
I did an intense squat workout the morning before, so the high level is expected. However, I’m afraid of a negative feedback loop since my right kidney is already permanently at 30%.

Are you supplementing with creatine?

Are you training hard?

If either of these is true, then the typical creatinine test is meaningless. A false positive, that is not usually indicative of any issues. Ask them to run other tests to check kidney function.

definitely not

I’d like to think so

There’s a wait of 6 months for that

I’m more worried that having chronically elevated creatinine levels will put more kidneys, but I’m equally unwilling to give up training

I confess I’m embarrassed that I got sucked into that evolutionary thread over in the Paul Carter forums.

Meatheads are the next stage of human evolution, guys.

Don’t sweat it. I’m more embarrassed I started it.

I’m watching What Not To Wear and confess that I dress WORSE than 1/2 the people on the show

That show was my jam in the mid-2000’s. I’d watch it with my grandma.

It could always be worse. Like how you ruined your life bowling or being an arrogant 40 yo loser.

Don’t forget about the angsty 18 year old girl debating over whether she can afford halo top
or the other three threads she created about failed ventures into relationships

Here you go. Add eggs to increase the protein.

stop it…just stop it !!!

I have never seen this brand of protein pancake mix here, only the baking mix. They have plenty of the expensive brand though. I am not paying that much for pancake mix unless Aquaman comes with it to cook them for me.

I have never really looked into this so what kind of protein is it? Plant, animal, soy?

What’s crazy is that this hack works with EVERY recipe.

It’s actually whey isolate. I was surprised.

@T3hPwnisher, it might work, but that doesn’t mean it’s good. But in the case of pancakes, it’s good.

I keep forgetting this is a thing.

I got halfway through that first post yesterday and quickly decided I did not have the mental energy on a monday to deal with that “tragedy” and avoided the thread.

That post reads as a self-fulfilling prophecy,
