I’ve said it a few times, but I can remember the 3 distinct times I’ve ever felt full, and 2 were after making weight for a powerlifting meet, which introduces an element of artificiality to it.
Learning I don’t need to feel satiated for a meal to be over was an invaluable lesson for me.
I take the opposite approach because I can’t predict the future so never know when my next meal might be. Can’t risk being hungry so gotta always eat until you’re slightly uncomfortable
I just ate a whole pizza and half an order of cheesy bread. My nose is so stopped up I couldn’t taste a thing. What kind of sicko goes way off diet and has a huge cheat meal when they can’t even taste it? I had to ask my wife if the pizza was good and her saying yes somehow made it better
It’s a pizza and beer kind of place. The buffet is okay. Their pizza is good so that elevates the buffet compared to the usual pizza buffets like Pizza Hut. They don’t put a ton of stuff out but I liked it. They had four or five options at all times that consisted of pizzas with Chicago style and tavern (thin) crust, cheesy bread sticks, and I think it was a calzone cut into slivers.
I recommend just ordering their Double Deckeroni pizza. They add a second layer of cheese and pepperoni to a standard pepperoni pizza. They also put sriracha or Tabasco on it to spice it up. It’s a pan crust. It’s delicious but be prepared for unquenchable thirst and a salt bloat.
I’ve never eaten anything bad there (but don’t be lame and order a salad or something weird).
I wanted a lot of pizza for not a lot of money so opted for their buffet over Pizza Hut.
If I was hungry, I could easily put down 2000+ calories of meat in 1 sitting and make room for more meat, so family functions are a struggle. There’ve actually been plenty of times where I’ve grossly overate despite having a pretty good meal only 2 hours before!
I’ve literally rearranged family vacations and celebrations to avoid eating out more than once a week- does that count as a confession?
Although, I have found my appetite quite tame since starting college…
As someone who has asked my mom for the recipe so I could track my calories and weighed my plate at a family dinner, I can say this isn’t a good thing.
Be mindful of your eating, but don’t take it to unhealthy levels where it interferes with simple social outings.
And remember the research I shared with you. Embrace the cheat!
Does it make sense to anyone that someone whose endocrine system is completely crashed and who self-diagnoses and self-medicates all over the place - while passing out here and there due to minor exertions - is advising people not to listen to their doctors regarding TRT, but rather to listen to him instead as he is expert in this matter EVEN THOUGH his move into managing his own pharma seems to mark his descent into chronic illness?
How is this guy allowed to advise others when he must have 4 distinct threads outlining his bloating, edema, palpitations, crashed potassium, uncontrolled diabetes with confusion, nausea, and seizures, fatty liver, etc?
Maybe focus on dialing in your diet and exercise as advised by your motherfucking medical team and get well rather than spending the day posting expert advice in pharma while you do OJ shots to keep yourself upright.
