Same happens. Just means you’re using your lats.

Properly shortening the muscle. Most people doing pull-ups, pulldowns, or rows are not properly using their lats.

Imagine pulling your armpits to the ground whilst contracting your traps together

I thought he dropped his meal, am I an idiot?

Maybe yes maybe no. But now I have an image of him dropping a plate on a plate and that is also making me smile !!

You Greeks still do this?

Not a form issue but a sign of needing more back work.

At times the level of self pity one can see bugs me on here. Guys crying about how they can’t do this or that because of some lame excuse. But yet you have people who are competitive in their chosen activity that are missing body parts.

I thought this as well, I think it means we’re fat :joy:

That always amazed me.

I feel like I make a fair amount of excuses; however, I’ve also walked through a typhoon to train and did 3000 steps the day after my kidney surgery

Not training after a surgery I would consider a valid excuse.

Held 475 in my hands for the first time! I know it’s poverty weight but I’m super stoked!

(Sorry for the bad angle)

Each side has 3 45’s, 3 15’s, 1 steel 25, and 1 5.

I’m glad to be part of a community where 475 is considered “poverty weight”

Heh. I consider it poverty weight too. Even though for women it’s like up there with the pros. Meh. Wishful thinking.

People need to move the needle in their opinion of hard work

I messed up years ago when I bought my rack. It was never rated for the purpose I had in mind. It’s getting to the point I’m starting to worry about its structural stability as a whole. Mentioned it to my wife and she said buy a new one before things go wrong. So conflicted at the moment.
