Pretty hypocritical to advocate against “majoring in the minors” then put out personality based workout plans, doesnt get much more “minor” than that, just confusing beginners even more
Well I am talking about anyone who makes a profit off this.
I’m in my last two weeks as the manager of the gym, I’m leaving on great terms, and I had raised a little money that was earmarked for equipment, so as a last push, I am ordering extra (good) bars and equipment upgrades while in good standing with the boss ![]()
The confession: While the gym will benefit, I am doing it selfishly because I assume they won’t find someone like myself who is committed to good equipment and that nothing will be upgraded for the forseeable future.
Ordered the Titan Comp/Safety Bench while on sale, should be here before I leave so I can even make sure it gets set up right!

You being a tyrannosaurus makes sense, those tiny little t-rex arms are how you’ve gotten all those OHP PR’s recently. Cheater.
Those gunz!

I believe Sasuke from Naruto knows the perfect side lunge stance.

I’m not voluntarily sending my DNA to anyone. It’s bad enough I had to get fingerprinted for work.
Boi mechanically it’s less than optimal. ![]()
His heel is way up and his kneecap is in the next zip code!
One of the therapists at my clinical site is a pelvic floor specialist. Had some down time today so she showed me some tricks for diaphragmatic breathing and progressions for transverse abdominis.
Confession: I think I’ve been breathing and bracing wrong
I bet she’s got a tight… never mind.
Good idea, always wear condoms.
I confess that I read this typo in the voice of Flavor Flav.
Haha I didn’t mean to but that type of joke immediately popped into my head after reading
@loganator - what are you in the process of becoming? Are you in school or past that and preparing for your job? I’m sure you’ve said and maybe clinical site should give me a clue but I don’t know.
Physical therapy assistant. All done with classes, 2 8 week long clinical rotations and license exam are the only thing left.
Then the only decision is if I want to go back to school to get my doctorate to be a PT but PTAs do all the fun stuff and I’ll make plenty of money so I’ll probably pass on more school
I am trying out eating by “listening to my body cues”.
The crux of it is if you feel like eating something. Rate your hunger. If it’s below 4 you don’t eat. If it’s between 4 and 7, you don’t eat for a few hours. If it’s 7 or above, then you eat.
I found this worked surprisingly well except my body seems to have worked this system out. Whenever I attempt to rate my hunger, I get a sudden rush of hunger - frequently with a rumbling stomach to accompany it.
Now I’m doing “rate your hunger from 5 minutes ago”. I feel I am in some sort of fatso game of cat and mouse…
Pro-tip: only use a scale of 1-5 and you will be good.
I see issues in the long term
Questionnaires are NOTORIOUSLY inaccurate because, you know, people…
Whenever I read about a study based on answers to questionnaires, I either discount heavily, or just ignore. pro tip: a lot of nutrition/health “studies” are based on questionnaires of what people “remember” eating…yeah, sure, that’s real accurate, sure.
But that stance though. So damn elegant lol
This made me think of Family Feud.
And the survey says…
