The Flame-Free Confession Thread II

I’m a bit fuzzy on Aussie geography to be honest, it’s been a while since I was down there.

It is a small world. Hope you aren’t outside in this.

I just couldn’t put any balls in my mouth. Idc how good they taste. There is a video going around on Facebook of some type of Asian lady eating what could only be some poor animals penis. Apparently it taste good

It took so much restraint for me to not make a joke of this.

I remember the article and thought … Wow that was some high end reasoning.

Please, don’t withhold valuable insight :joy:

That’s cool since it’s not reasonable to expect most people to have an in-depth knowledge of foreign cultures. Unless you’re the one writing about them lol.

Asians don’t eat wheat? What in the fuck does he think the majority of NOODLES are made of?

Without opening the article, I’m going to assume it just says that it’s their superior math skills that allow them to be MUCH better at calculating their macros and MRV.

I’m pretty glad I went with my gut and refrained from giving out advice on a certain thread.

I’m so glad I stopped reading articles and studies. I think when I was a true beginner that’s what got me all fucked up.

There is this thread on reddit in the “weightroom” sub called “10 years of doing whatever the hell I want” (you can search for it).

This guy basically with no program, studies, or any of that just literally lifted, busted his ass, ate big and got to a 600 squat, 400 bench, 700 deadlift, 500 front squat, and almost a 300 oh press over the course of 10 years of lifting.

The human body for as complex as it is, is also very simple when it comes to lifting. Lift weights and repeat. Once the weight feels light, add weight, and do it again and do that for many years.

I think all the magazines, articles and all the shit we can see online makes us feel like if you don’t add 100lbs to your lift in the first 3 months that you are doing things wrong. I remember that’s how I felt in the beginning. I thought progress was just linear and if you miss one rep on a week that means you did something wrong. Can’t believe how stupid I was my first 3-4 years of lifting lol.

EDIT: Found the reddit and the dude says: My “programming” has been a complete lack of programming. I would like to think that I am an example of what happens when you try very hard, prioritize lifting above most things (often with detriment, as I will describe later), eat for performance, and take the right supplements. I believe that most anything will work if you really work, but you need to be a little unhinged with your training to get there.

That’s how that guy really achieved his goals.

(just practicing the art of only seeing exactly what it is I want to see, and ignoring everything else LOL)

What… no studies? Inconceivable!

You say that word a lot. I don’t think it means what you think it means.

If that guy isn’t a troll, I’ll fedEx all my bitcoin to everyone still humoring him in that thread.

I think Antonio Brown is pretty silly with all his antics lately. Enough nonsense already dude.

I think its cool that John Gruden is supportive. Coach as your back! I like it.

I’m ready for Football.

There is absolutely nothing to be learned from that thread.
