The Flame-Free Confession Thread II

I’m sorry about what happened. Thank goodness rabies isn’t a concern.

What state do you live in? In some, pet owners are legally obliged to vaccinate their pets and keep records. You have the right to know

Yeah mine are now 20 and 21 but I’m guessing I will always view them as kid’s. It’s got to be a parent thing.

Yes you are correct. If the dog has not been vaccinated in this case the owner can be fined and forfeit their pet.

I did bloodwork for my annual physical and the bloodwork came back saying I had hormone levels below testable ranges. The dr. wanted me to retest and it’s official…
I am a 70+ year old woman trapped in a 18 year old body. Given the way I live, I was kind of expecting it

Based on what I see on social media and even this site I believe that most people who follow some sort of fasting protocol have a bad relationship with food. Seems like an excuse to binge eat and fit in all kinds of crap in their diet. I also do not think the benefits are all they are cracked out to be. It started with intermittent fasting, now people are fasting for multiple days.

I do it as punishment for eating bad (usually social events). It’s my recovery method and I don’t do it often. I couldn’t do the 5/2 thing. And as you pointed out, I tend to be more hungry when I do the intermittent fasting thing. I can wait til 3pm to eat, but then I’m hungry at 4:30, 6, 7:30, and so on. I can really destroy the purpose of the “fast” in a short amount of time, and then I have to do it again to recover.

I definitely do it sometimes, moving/pushing macros around social events.

What’s low?

I’m overwhelmed by all the crap I need to bring camping, so I decided to take a break and goof off here while I eat some potato chips.

What’s sad is that “all the crap I need to bring” is pretty much my clothes, my pillow, my wine, the sleeping bag I keep separate from the rest of the stuff so it smells nice, and the music/speakers. My husband has shopped for and prepped the food and loaded it into the cooler, and packed the the tarp, the paper goods, the tent, the sleeping mats, the 50 gal. tank of water, and etc into the truck. He’s already left to go assemble those things.

I sort of suck. But to be fair, if I had much more of the work part to do I’d probably sour on the whole camping thing, which would make him very sad, so I suppose there’s a win/win in there.

My grandmother called me “a lovely girl” when I was probably close to 30. I would imagine she’d have seen me that way forever had she lived.

all the sex hormones…

Any suspected cause?

Did you not say your menses had stopped because your body fat was too low and you weren’t willing to gain back the few points it would take to restore it? I did let you know that that would destroy your bones and your body. Do you have a plan to address this?

That will do it alright!

currently, my doc’s put me on Femoston (hence my thread in the women’s section). Beyond that, I honestly don’t know. I heard lifting has bone protective properties

Not when you are malnourished. Don’t you weight like 90 lbs?

yeah. I’m also 5’0 and Asian

But dangerously low body fat levels directly affect bone density levels. It’s like people who go on TRT while still taking benzos and wondering why their hormones aren’t stabilizing. HRT is not going to be a permanent fix. It may help for some time but your body needs nourishment and it will fight back. The next step is losing your hair.
