I don’t know what they’re doing down there but we’re not exactly considered low class when it comes to BBQ in the Midwest.

The only thing I remember about the food from NY was being amazed that the girls I was with had any left over to take away. I didn’t realise that this was a thing.

I’ll cook if you buy?

Pulled pork with ketchup on a white bread bun. Seriously fucked up

If we’re going to talk carbs on carbs, can I just talk to you for a minute about our Lord and saviour chip butties?

Isn’t that a deep fried sausage? Could be wrong.

But srsly, had a deep fried Twinkie?

It’s da shizz.

Only for the volume. Sausage & gravy for 40 also.

Now the mashed potato sandwiches make sense. My grandma was from Ireland.

Are you Irish?

I’ve seen more than one gigantor sandwich on Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives made with the addition of french fries and also potato chips (more often).

When I lived in Spain they’d often whack a tortilla española in a baguette and it was pretty glorious.

Yeah, Panera, mac and cheese in a bread bowl. Five pounds, easy.

A local place called Primanti’s does this. It was probably their sandwich.

The Burgh. I’ve heard there are better places, but when I get there, I’m going to Primantis.

The pizza on that menu looks pretty darn good.

It is. I’ve only had it a couple of times, but it’s good. None of it is beautiful or fancy, but man it hits the spot.

Now this is blasphemy
NYC pizza is some of the best.

I ate something at Vetri Pizza in Philly
called a Rotolo - that was Amazing
