After you having a less than optimal session the other day and then spending time reading some of the trash on her. I’m just watching the pressure build and heating up the popcorn!
What!? And he didnt start a thread asking why he had an off session and if every thing will be okay?
I think he started one about a creatine cycle in the pharma section ![]()
I started physics 2 weeks ago and it’s like learning math again in a different language
I feel that. Two semester ago I had Trig, and I really thing professor felt bad for me, because I’m 100% certain that I did not deserve a B in that class.
Im still fully convinced Trigonometry is just completely made up
Completely made up by the Annunaki and taught to Ancient Humans.
Math is a scam. Everyone knows the only numbers you ever need are 5,3, and 1.
In honor of @Yogi1, we should call it maths.
In addition to 5, 3, and 1, you should add nil, for obvious reasons.
BTW, going to spend a few weeks lifting at Santa Cruz Strength - does your friend/acquaintance still own it? It seems to have changed hands - it’s a little less metal, lol.
Clay has apparently moved to Texas. Most unfortunate. It was a great spot. Still next to a Costco, which is cool, excpet now Costco doesn’t sell polish sausages. What’s up with that?
Fixed it for you.
But, I can still get gallons and gallons of milk there in case I GOMAD.
That Costco totally screwed up the traffic pattern there - I have to go through that intersection to get to my place up Hiway 9, it pisses me off.
Santa Cruz Strength is right next to a Crossfit. CF is $20 drop in, I think $200 a month for a visitor. Santa Cruz Strength is way less, downright affordable, but it looks a little more girly than it did before.
Last time I worked out at SC Strength, nobody checked me. I just went in like a boss and worked out for free. I felt bad, but I couldn’t find anyone to pay. My kind of gym.
Decided I’d attempt the gym chalkboard record for 50ft farmer walk today. Been logging the handles as 25lbs a piece. Just weighed them and they’re 45lbs each… Woopsy, guess I need to edit the last year of my log.
Much better than finding out they’re 20 lbs lighter though.
For sure, I always felt my grip was a weak point so it’s nice to know I was carrying more than I thought.
I don’t know what’s considered good though compared to your bodyweight for 50ft.
Probably an answer you don’t want to hear. I saw a couple of dudes carrying about 185 in each hand for 25 feet. I couldn’t tell for sure because some were bumper plates, could have been 225. Way out of my league. And they were big fat fucks…kind of like Markko, but strong AF, kind of like Markko.
Long as it can handle the weight you use is all that matters.
I’d be ok with 185 lbs in each hand for 50 feet as a starting point. Not that I know shit about strongman but I’d want to have bodyweight in each hand over that distance at least though. I did 200 lbs per hand for 30 feet when I weighed around 200 lbs, I know that.
Unfortunately it does. Looking forward to the day it no longer can.
Okay cool, I guess I’m doing pretty good then
I thought I was carrying 185 for 50ft the last month or so but it turns out it was actually 205. Then I hit 235lbs for 50ft for a PR today.
Any where to look to know what’s good for circus dbell, stones, log? Or is it best just to ask?
