The Flame-Free Confession Thread II

I still can’t figure out the difference between full body and splits.

naturally it’s keto all the way. [/quote]

Today I learnt that, other than not warming up, my diet and training routine is comprised entirely of all the stupid ideas posted over the forums all these years…

I only jest in part, this is scarily close to my gym life, other than you obviously meant never more than 6 reps right? Otherwise that’s cardio

god damn noobs.

A lot of the things I’m talking shit about there do actually have some pretty solid practical application. It’s just funny when these guidelines become dogma and get taken out of context.

I actually bought into quite a lot of the dogma when I first started out. Like, I didn’t train curls for years because I remember reading an Eric Cressey article where he said that rows and chins were all you needed for biceps. Fast forward to ten years later and my torso is much more muscular than my arms. Funny that.

Not a confession, but more of a favor: can I please get someone’s email? I need someone to talk to, and I don’t really feel comfortable discussing it on the forums. I don’t really have anyone else to talk to about this…at all. Thanks.

They’ve obviously never owned cats.

Mine should be in my profile.

I don’t see it there…even though you put it in your profile, I don’t think our emails are visible to anyone else.

OK. I’ll see how I can change that.

Edit: fixed it.

Message me man

For the record I have permanent keyboard impression on my forehead. From all the times my head has hit the keyboard over the things I have read over time.

Confession: since having to change my schedule and go to the gym early evenings, I have begun to hate being in a crowded gym. Also, at exactly the time I go every day, there’s a group of 10+ people of the same or similar ethnicity who, possibly due to their cultural norms (or restrictions), don’t wear deodorant, and the smell is so thick and overwhelming that not only can I not be within 5 feet of any of them without getting nauseous, but I can’t even go to a station that they were recently at, as the smell lingers. I get so annoyed about it that I feel guilty about it after leaving the gym. It shouldn’t be that big of a deal. I literally leave puddles of sweat everywhere I go since I sweat like a disgusting pig, and I take a couple minutes after every exercise to clean everything I touched - even wipe down the floor after I drip sweat on it. Given that effort, I feel like washing your pits before coming to the gym is the least people could do. The only problem is, body odor is often something people don’t realize they have.

I’m a stinky dude, I’ll shower before going to the gym pretty often. Usually shower 2-3 times a day.

I have a friend who won’t stink after 3+ days of no shower, his hair just gets a little greasy. Meanwhile I stink after 8 hours of doing nothing, I’ll even wake up smelling like BO when I showered just before bed. To my credit though, I try to keep my stink to myself (except for farts, everyone gets to enjoy those)

After being MIA for a few weeks, and 600 posts behind here… I read through 200, and when I saw I still have 400 to go to get caught up I decided to just skip ahead and ask if theres anything notable in the last 400 posts that I missed?

Trying to remember what happened earlier in this thread… I’m pretty sure it was mentioned that alpha males don’t skip posts

If I learned anything from the posts I DID read it’s that you can call him anything you want as long as it’s not a secretary
