The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Out Now

I’ll try that, thanks. I only have one shout available so far, need to kill dragons to get the souls to unlock the others yet.

Yesterday some thughs assaulted me. They had a contract from the innkeeper at Wildhem about killing the “thief”. I don’t remember stealing from her…so I went to her inn to see what was going on…and nothing. No hostile or anything.

I get that from time to time too off various assholes. Generally go back and give them a savage beating with my enchanted picaxe to teach them a lesson

I restarted and made a deadly, unlinked high elf Mage. Good stuff

I don’t know if anyone else has had this glitch but I accidentally killed a guy in the Orc only village since I am not an orc and they told me to leave then pulled a blade.

Anyways I killed the guy then ran out of the village. No sooner did I clear the gates of the village then a hired thug showed up with a bounty for killing the orc. To test my theory I slaughtered the whole village and a group of hired thugs showed up with bounty contracts for me. Were talking seconds later, as soon as the body dropped to the ground a thug hired showed up.

About the redguard women quest you get in windhelm, does anyone know who’s lying between her and the alik warrior? Or if you can’t find who lies who gives the most loot?

I sided with the warriors, so not sure. I was disappointed that, being a Redguard myself, there was no special dialogue.

I don’t think there is a way to find out the truth. I also sided with the warriors, they seemed like pretty legit dudes to me.

i killed her, women are always deceiving little liars!

I played both, and killed them in the end - didn’t make much of a difference which is a shame.

Did the hardest dungeon I’ve encountered last night. Hag Rock Redoubt, a little bit southwest of Markath. It took me literally 20 or so tries, there was a Forsworn Briarheart outside that was killing me in 1 dual wield combo at level 40 with 350 health and full heavy armor. I had to use Beserk (the orc power), summon my Spectral Assassin and use the attack speed shout to bring him down. Took 4 tries just to get him. But there was 2 big chests and 4-5 smaller ones.

What difficulty are you playing on?

I was going to ask the same, because I’m seriously considering increasing the difficulty. It’s way too easy so far (level 17, just joined the Dark Brotherhood).

Glad I wasn’t the only one. That clown pwned me so many times I had to turn the difficulty down only because I was tired of wasting my time. I was about the same level as you.

The dungeon itself is far easier.

Windhelm murderer spoilers :

I sent the mage to jail, but I discovered that the murderer was Calixto. So that night at 2 am I caught Calixto at the Marketplace just before he was going to murder some girl. So I killed him…and the guards attack me. I had to stay in jail for a while…
Bit silly.

I also tried to reload and see what happens if Calixto murders the girl. Well, he never does it. I even “waited” until morning and the market is full, the girl is standing there and Calixto is behind her mid attack motion with a knife.

I’m level 26 now and I have plenty of shouts…and I’ve grown to hate the hotkey system. I don’t have enough hotkeys, the list doesn’t have any order (by weapon/spell/power or alphabetical order). I’ll check if any mod can fix this…

Maybe you stole her heart? <3 <3 <3

Which reminds me… Anyone play Dragon Age? That game was good coz you could get laid.

Skyrim such a more hostile environment… My character could use some post-battle sexy time.

I really liked Astrid (and Nazir), so when I saw her body burned it was quite…shocking…

Thief is fun. Very strategical with the sneaking and the weakness to hand-to-hand combat.
